It felt as if the other half of him was gone when you weren’t around beside him

Okay so I’m aware of the stigma around the kpop industry and it’s celebrities having plastic surgery, so I’ll be addressing what and how it affects Juno (warning! Plastic surgery and sensitive content ahead!!! Pls do not read if you may be uncomfortable to this stuff!)

Yes, Juno has had procedures done on her face. She’s had her nose and eyes done when she first debuted, but it was a complete consensual and personal decision she made on her own

I’m not here to write or speak on the behalf of Ateez as individuals, or any other idols, groups, or people for that matter. I couldn’t care less if my 8 boys had procedures done or not, because I love them for their raw talent and amazing personalities. That is why I fell in love with Ateez, because they are truly gifted with performance skills and vocal talents. Of course, kpop itself is focused a lot on the image and looks of these celebrities, but there is more that we can address and recognize as well.

Personally, I think it’s time we normalize and accept idols or stars who get plastic surgery for the screen and their career. As a person of Korean descent, and who has been to Korea, I have witnessed first hand the pressure society puts on all their people (specifically women) to look or be a certain way. Juno is not someone who we should judge based on her looks, nor anyone else in this world.

Please be kind and understanding to the different societal standards other countries have, and don’t bash those who were victimized and shamed!!!

Juno was very hesitant about getting her nose done, because getting double eyelid surgery in Korea is just that common. She was fine with getting her eyes done, because she’s even thought about it when she was in high school (one eye was bigger than the other, and it was getting quite noticeable)

However, Juno originally felt that getting rhinoplasty would improve her image as an idol, and other people would think she was prettier. So she viewed it as a must in order to debut

While being in the industry for a few years now, Juno realized that she’s gained so much self love and confidence for herself (although she’s still in the process as well!)

she’s also realized she got plastic surgery done with wrong intentions. Yes she wanted to be pretty, but not for others, but for her own happiness

Juno is happy with her looks, and she’s so grateful to be who she is🥺🌷she wishes the same for you that is reading this right now, whether you got something done or not💗

hiatus.

hi everyone, i’ve come to the decision of taking another hiatus :/ while yes, that day was bad, the rest of the week was even worse. it’s been getting a little difficult for me to deal with everything.

i’ll come back, definitely, but i don’t have any motivation nor do i have the time to write anything. writing is normally an escape from the real world, but rn all i can really do is experience life for a little while.

i’m sorry if i disappointed any of you, and i’ll try to be more consistent in the future.

Hongjoong hums along to the song that’s faintly playing in the background of his room as he works on sewing together yellow fabrics to create the mini skirt he had sketched and passed in to his professor earlier today.

In his fashion design class, his professor had assigned a miniature project. The objective of the project is to create and piece together an outfit based on modern ideals. The project was assigned last week but Hongjoong had no inspiration and put off sketching out an idea until the very last minute. He was contemplating taking a zero on the assignment and just working harder for the rest of the semester to raise his grade because he really didn’t know what to design. He was too busy focusing his attention on Red Cherry, a female kpop group that he’s been obsessing over for the past two years.

This morning however as he was getting ready for his marketing lecture he was hit with inspiration. Two days ago, Red Cherry was on the variety show After School Club and Hongjoong could remember what each member was wearing but he could vividly remember what you were wearing. It was a pink flower cami with a tight matching pink mini skirt. Hongjoong instantly left his bathroom to start sketching out an outfit based on the outfit you had worn. He changed the colors however and based it on a color he thought truly matched your character, yellow. He copied the top but added his own twist, he decided he would use a daisy print lace fabric and crop it to make it a cropped cami and then for the skirt he would make it a pleated yellow and white mini skirt.
