Thirteen
13th of November is a Monday this year. I remember last year it was a Sunday - the saddest Sunday of my life. How could I forget it?
A part of me died on that day.
How did it feel? It was like ripping out a vital organ of your body - something that belongs to you, something you can't live without anymore, just endure. To endure this existence, to endure always "just one more day".
Thirteen.
Where there are no words, it's only distance what screams - if I can't. No one would hear me anyway. And even if they would, I know you can't be among them, and since that I don't care about anything anymore. There is nothing left in me but this phantom pain and absence, after something that has long since ceased to be a part of my life.
There is something deep inside me that will never be healed.
Things we carry inside until the day we die.
Thirteen.
"Just one more day".
And in the meantime, deep down I'm hoping - again and again - that I won't live to see the next year.
