Just played Butterfly Soup 2 and

It’s way too relatable for me being a white gay man and them being queer Asian women (mostly)🧍Me and my boyfriend played it together and I was crying and he crode and then we crew together.
BUT SERIOUSLY the game hits SO hard and the portrayal of the queer experience is so accurate. As someone who grew up as a queer girl every moment of the game felt like I was being taken back in time. Brianna Lei is a GENIUS. The writing is PERFECT. And I cannot recommend the game enough.

AHHHHHH IM SO FUCKING GLAD THIS MOVIE HAS FINALLY BEGUN TO BE TALKED ABOUT. THERE IS SO MUCH TO SAY, AND YET THE MOVIE ALSO?? SOMEHOW??? SAYS EVERYTHING THERE IS TO SAY. That’s what makes it so good I think- the queer representation, the subltleties of Scorcese’s work?? Everything. Me and my boyfriend decided to rewatch it together and everything holds up so well, we were both even crying by the bridge scene.
If you haven’t seen this movie yet, or you haven’t rewatched it in a while- without hesitation go watch it now. It is one of the only classics that I will sing praise for and it is so deserving. Goncharov is a movie like no other, all should experience it’s wonder.

God I am so happy this movie is resurfacing- it was really a staple in queer media and it’s finally getting the attention it deserves. The soundtrack is beautiful and the relationship developments were written better than most in movies being made today. I just had to make fan-art, I hope y’all enjoy. :)
