I, personally, love the rhythm of the TWP book titles. They almost have a fairytale feel to them?? Like the Knights of the Round Table, or The Sword in the Stone. Things like that. Whilst they don’t read exactly the same, the ‘beat’ of the titles has an uncanny, storybook touch to them — which, if TWP is going to be loosely inspired by Arthurian Legend, makes sense in its own accord. The Last King of Faerie, The Last Prince of Hell and The Last Shadowhunter all sound like legends you’d hear whispered among patrons of the Shadow Market, or something, which is something I really like about them.

I have a lot of reasons that I don’t think an ss film adaptation would be a good idea but one of the biggest ones I think is that if it had an adaptation that ended up getting a pretty big tumblr fandom there would probably be a decent chunk of the fandom at least on tumblr that thinks Lourens is hot and I would have to scroll past a million gifsets of sexy old man scientist Lourens on a daily basis and while I don’t actually have evidence that this would happen I am convinced that it would happen because of the way that tumblr is and the way that people are and I know this to be true deep within my soul despite the fact that to my knowledge there is no chance of this becoming a reality in the near future and despite my lack of actual evidence and while I would like to provide the important caveat that this wouldn’t be a bad thing it would be a neutral thing because people can do what they want obviously however this potential reality that I have envisioned does not spark joy for me personally thank you for reading the words of my brain at 3 am I am coherent and my thoughts make sense and I am drawing logical conclusions you can feel the tv it’s warm
