The Midnight Club (2022)

My favorite new release is "Midnight Club", a Mike Flanagan project that comes close to the magic of "Hill House". Overall, I though this was a story with an unexpected amount of heart, humor, and a little horror. 4/5 stars overall. More in the link.

Malignant (2021)

"Them" is an Amazon original series focusing on the horrors of desegregation white suburbia through a lens of horror. It's main issue is that it chooses to import the paranormal which cheapened the reality of the story. 2/5 stars. More in the link.

Old Gods of Appalachia (2019-present)

I fell in love with the podcast "Old Gods of Appalachia". It is a horror anthology podcast based in folklore from the Appalachian region, and swimming vivid description, interesting characters, and spine-shiver stories, this was a 5/5 stars.

Rings (2017) is the final film in "The Ring" franchise, and though it put an unceremonious end to any further franchise potential, it does follow the franchise format well and has some decent scares. 2/5 stars. More in the link.

Limetown (2021)
