something i hate (i love it, it just causes me immense pain) is how the will literally isn’t about christopher. it’s not about who his son is with, like it is a little bit but eddie has to know that the chances of him not coming home are just as high as the chances of both of them not coming home. he knows this, and he did it anyway because the will is about buck. it’s about giving buck something to fight for, buck who feels like everyone always leaves him. eddie gave him a tether that was linked to something REAL and legal, he gave this guy who has been passively suicidal most of his life a reason to CARE if he lives and dies. and it HURTS me.

Do you sometimes stop and think that for 3 minutes and 17 seconds Maddie lost another brother, Bobby lost another child, Eddie lost another partner and Christopher lost another parent? 🙃

thinking about how despite everything. chim is still going to marry the love of his life. he's going to do whatever it takes to get back to maddie and jee, and the people he loves - who love him - are going to do whatever it takes to get him back, too. and maybe it won't be a perfect day, when he finally gets back to them; maybe he'll be in a hospital gown, and make some wisecrack about how maddie's supposed to be the one in a white dress, not him, but there will be a smile on his face, so wide his cheeks hurt, and he'll be surrounded by his family, and - and look, he doesn't have to say "for better or worse, in sickness and in health," and all that, because maddie already knows it, but she'll have tears in her eyes when he does, anyway, and chim will, too, won't even try to hide them, and they'll say "i do" underneath harsh fluorescent lights, and instead of wedding bells sending them off, it'll be the beep beep beeps of ecg's, and maybe it isn't what they pictured, when maddie proposed all those months ago, but it's - it's perfect, really, and he looks at the two great loves of his life, his daughter and his wife, and he can't help but feel like he's the luckiest man alive.

i think ive made it very clear how i stand on infidelity in tv shows and that i actively root for it for drama sake and intrigue, anywho the whole thing that ive been speculating on is a "did we hook up?" where the answer is NO so.... idk why it even matters

speaking of wedding eps in shows…one of my fav ships ever is monica and chandler and they drunkenly hooked up at ross’ wedding as a b plot. i feel like it’s pretty common to have something go down between a ship other than the one getting married during a wedding episode

its a little different because ross wasnt marrying another main character and one could argue that the jaw drop of the mondler hookup was almost immediately undercut by ross saying rachels name (INSANE set of episodes by the way, i would have done ANYTHING to have been alive and watching those in real time) but its definitely a good example !!

anyway YEAH like wedding hookup is like one of the most common and oversued cliches, like of all ever. i dont think its rude or crazy to speculate that the show might do that idk

911 fans when buck is with someone else and there’s a reasonable way for eddie to pine: “whyyyy do you want him to be sadddd why can’t you just want him to be happyyyy”

did you not realize pining is misery and pain, it’s not a FUN way to live

would love the will the won’t they just not now tbh as it’s going to be a madney focused episode (as it should be) and they’re going to be the core of the episode and I just think doing that with buddie would definitely take focus away from madney finally getting married and they deserve to have everything be about them right now

i mean, b plots can and do exist. in the promo we see maddie and hen storm into dispatch alone so i figured that theyre probably heading up the one side of the A plot of finding chimney (the other side being whatever the fuck chimney is actually doing) and that buck and eddie will be taking the b plot of trying to wrangle the wedding guests and explain the delay. when i say what i want from buddie i dont mean they need several minute long scenes where they disect their relationship and talk about their feelings. everything that a "did we hookup" plot entails can be acheived through non verbal communication and implied events.
