Castiel that plays guitar to you. You'd be doing something and he randomly comes with his guitar asking if you wanted to hear what he was working on and each time you'd throw aside everything you were doing, not caring about anything but the tune he was playing. His fingers slowly rocking the chords, his eyes on his fingers focusing on what he's doing. Sometimes lyrics he imagines escape his mouth and you fall in love all over again. Each time.

Here’s the thing about the new Percy Jackson book: it’s absolutely a money grab, but it’s also reassurance for Disney that the show will be a success.
When you advertise, you don’t target your current consumers. You want to bring in new ones.
We haven’t seen a book where Percy was a main character in a decade. Disney has to reintroduce him to a new generation essentially. While The Lightning Thief is obvs a timeless classic, a new book is the better option to pull in new readers — which, let me remind everyone, is meant to be middle schoolers and not us 20-somethings desperate for nostalgia.
A new book is fresh, it can be promoted better and more, and it brings in a new audience — an audience that will buy the old books to catch up and who will then watch the TV show when it eventually airs. It fills the gap and is smart business, which yes, *insert rant about evil corporations here* but it’s a necessary evil to get fans the best possible content on all fronts. (Almost every single place you consume media is backed by a corporate entity looking for cash. That’s the biz, babies.)
Personally, I’m excited to hear from a childhood friend again with a Percy POV. I’m excited for my nieces and nephews to pick up a Percy book better written for their generation.
And, If it’s bad, the world won’t end. We still have TLT.
Be wary of the quality all you want (I certainly am), but it seems grossly misplaced to take a pitchfork to an author for doing what needs to be done to get you exactly what you asked for.

I know Castiel's parents weren't much around for him and we don't really see them often (i am VERY mad that they didn't show their actual faces in the last episode of Love Life) but my heart melted when in a dialogue it was implied that Castiel got his mom's smile 🥺💕 if he weren't so indipendent, he would have been a momma's boy for sure 😭

This is the messiest text ever, made for someone I can't reach out to anymore. I'm sharing it here I don't know why.

It was back on March 18th when I met you. I knew it was different from the moment we started that conversation, about nothing and everything at the same time.
We didn't talk for so long after I had to hang up. And not even 10 minutes passed before I came back to you again. You captivated me so much I just had to come back and talk for a little more. And that kept happening one day after another for only a few weeks until I realized how addicted I was to your voice, and to your face, and to your smile, and to yourself.
I knew I was a fool for falling in love so fast. I knew I had to wait more before I told you. And considering myself and how I am, I was so patient. Now that I look back at it, was I really?
But how should I be patient when we shared countless "I love you", numerous compliments, and Infinite "I miss you so much"? A day without talking to you felt so empty. I knew you felt it too, or at least I thought I knew…
I told you I'd fallen for you on May 3rd. In your own way, you told me you'd fallen too. That could have been the happiest day for me, I even told you it didn't feel real, it felt like a dream. You told me it was real right away.
We'd never seen each other in person. But we saw each other's faces, and we listened to each other's voices, and read each other's words every day. That seemed enough for me. The physical contact was the last of my worries at that moment, we had our own type of intimacy and that was enough for me.
Then I told my friends about you. "I might have just gotten into a long-distance relationship". I didn't get much support.
