Mammon's such a fascinating character because canonically:

*good at solving complex mathematical problems in his head in a matter of seconds*

*understands people, their emotions and how they'd react to specific situations and uses that knowledge to manipulate them and get what he wants (whether that's some physical object or a certain reaction from them or just for them to calm down)*

*when there's no other choice at all, he steps up and effectively takes charge*

*a good teacher and seems to have a good balanced mix between being strict, encouraging and helpful*

*whenever Lucifer wants a job done well (no matter what the job is), he relies on Mammon (and has done so since they were angels)*

*scams usually work, he just tends to get caught at the end*

*came up with a code on the spot to tell MC he missed them while also being a comprehensible message on its own, that fit with his 'tsundere' personality*

*constantly found ways to sneak into the human world from the Celestial Realm*

*has fast and spontaneous reactions during high stake situations where you need to move/react fast*

*enjoys playing chess*

*can multitask well*

*actual emotional intelligence*

*one of the first brothers (the second?) to realise there was something wrong with Simeon*

*has a variety of skills that range from making balloon animals to fitting in seamlessly in a corporate environment*

*extremely hardworking when there's a goal he genuinely wants that he's working towards*

*when giving it his all he tends to pick up new skills easily*

*by his younger brothers' own admittance, he can do anything, complete any task and he can do it well as long as he puts effort into it*

But also canonically:

*had no idea what the fuck rent was*

*a shit liar*

*said "what if I accidentally tell MC I'm in love with them" to MC*

*constantly failing all his classes*

*easily falls for traps/curses*

*emotional intelligence fizzles out when it comes to talking about his own problems/admitting anything about himself*

*bet and lost their new house*

*managed to trick himself into believing he'd get a prize if he won a competition that Diavolo explicitly said there was no prize for*

*came up with a plan to win the competition in a matter of seconds, easily and constantly changing it to better fit the situation at hand. a plan that worked extremely well. lost the competition because he couldn't be bothered to check the title of a book*

Mammon's a character who'll break down and teach you PhD level Mathematics without breaking a sweat and then ask you what kind of animal the Pink Panther is in the next sentence.

I love him. I want to study him under a microscope.

What makes this even better is that I'm 100% sure his brothers have managed to gaslight the entire fandom into thinking he's the biggest fucking idiot alive with just the windows screensaver bouncing around in his head and nothing else

Don't get me wrong, he's a dumbass. He probably runs face first into a glass door at least once a week. But also....I mean....c'mon

In conclusion,

If you like Mammon, you're NOT a morosexual. You're a morosexual with a competency kink. Good Day.

Please share and read

So as most people know by now we are lacking a birthday event for asmo. Well it turns out that obey me has confirmed in an email that they will no longer be doing birthday events for the boys. All the birthday cards will be in the nightmare. The devs are fully aware that the fans are upset by this sudden change and they have not made a single announcement in regards to this information.

Down below you will see the remaining boys who will be not get a future birthday event. I’m sorry to be the one to share the news but knowing obey me they probably won’t publicly announce this change.

I would highly suggest for players to not spend any money on obey me because it’s unreasonable for them to hide a guaranteed ur card behind a paywall. The birthday events are the one annual event where we can celebrate our favorite boys while also getting to know them more on their special day. But now obey me are making money hungry decisions that benefit them more than the players enjoyment of the game.

Whew. As a gay (cis) black man that has been playing Obey Me since launch, I am incredibly disappointed in some of the fandom rn. The fact seeing a feminine figure makes some of you so uncomfortable you begin talking about how the game will be ruined??? HUH

You aren’t obligated to romance them or reciprocate their interest, they’re an option for other people. They aren’t your “rival” anymore than any of the male characters. If you haven’t noticed, guys play this game too. Do you see us calling the addition of male characters rivals or replacements? You realize the boys are still canonically attracted to men even if your MC is a woman, right? Does that make Solomon your rival? Simeon? Get a grip. All this shows me is some of you don’t take romance between men seriously as only a feminine silhouette makes you think of romantic rivalry.

You’re acting like the straight douchebag dudebros that start crying anytime LGBT+ or POC characters are added to media. It’s one thing to question if the writing team can handle more characters and another when your sole aversion is the addition of a feminine one. The devs went out of their way to be sure this game included an audience that is constantly neglected by this genre. I have never felt a sense of belonging or immersion in a game like this until OM and I’m glad that is extending to other orientations. If you want to quit like a weird nerd because pixels make you insecure, go ahead.

But you wouln't be you if you didn't find a way to annoy Lucifer, yet you couln't find a way to annoy him , as he was just peacefully laying on the bed next to you. And that was why you showed him your hand, eyes boring into his eyes. He perked his eyebrows and accepted your hand, if confirmation was even needed. He already loves holding your hand but when you hold out your hand to him while you two were laying on his bed, he couln't help but chuckle. He finds you adorable and troublesome.

You silently held out your hand to him, staring at his bored, yet handsome figure. You fake coughed as he kept staring at his D. D. D before looking up to you, and your hand, then back up at you.

"What are ya doin' human?" he asked, but you remained silent, doing a little grabby with your fingers and looked at him with a small smile, one that had his lips tugging into a small smile of his own. He was still confused but seeing him look confused and clueless was super cute.

He put his hand on top of yours. But he quickly pulled away when he sees your cheeky grin, cooing at how adorable he was.

He was sitting on the floor, while you were standing, holding out your hand to him, still with a stupid grin on your face. He gave you his hand without second thought, until he was reminded of something.

This was just like the anime he saw! The prince came to save the princess in need, holding out his hand and gave a helping hand to the princess, guiding her out of the miserable tower she was trapped in for ten years! He defeated the dragon and helped the princess-. The never ending rambling continued.

You decided to try again the next day, but this time, kneeling down in front of him and holding out your hand to him. But alas, luck must have left you when you pull the seven rulers of hell, the prince of Devildom and his butler, the most powerful sorcerer, the angel and his dog. He eventually passed out, thinking you were proposing to him.

School starts tomorrow pls save me

Lucifer was exhausted, to say the least. He had more works to finish as the student council, more documents sent by Diavolo himself. And that wasn't the end, a certain demon had caused so much trouble for the past few weeks and gotten more letters of complaints about him, another certain demon, buying all of the latest Ruri-chan merch, all for himself. Or another, bringing in a dozen of cats, in the house of lamentation, and so it goes. He hadn't had a good sleep for some days. Diavolo, had noticed his friend's change of demanour, his aura intimidating than before, dark circles drawn below his eyes. He asked his friend for a vacation. Offering to take care of his beloved brothers for him. He, exhausted as he was, accepted the offer.

The vacation was a human world beach, the sun shining ever so brightly, the dust and sand glistening before being washed away by the shore, the sound of birds singing a soft melody and the wind, blowing at him, as if they know his exhaustion.

He then saw it, a beautiful creature, swimming. Was it human? But it had a fish tail. Was it some human merely catching a fish? He's questions were soon answered when the creature reappeared. It was indeed, beautiful, was it a siren? Quite possible. He walked over to the creature, making contact with it. He couln't miss it now, it was a mermaid, a beautiful one at that.

Now that he's questions were answered, he took his time admiring the beautiful, yet possibly dangerous, mermaid. He introduced himself, seeing the mermaid's shocked eyes. "Hello there,mermaid. I've come unarmed, please do not be alarmed. May I ask, what's your name?". And so it began, the start of their little conversation, his works and exhaustion long forgotten.

He had ran away, yet again. The demon brothers were on a little trip to the beach, as it was something they rarely get to see in the Devildom. Though they have a beach, created by Diavolo, it was incomparable to the real experience. Each one of the brothers were doing their own little thing, as he, Mammon, was about to go for a swim. But he halted as they heared a scream, it sounded fimiliar. Each one of the brothers ran to the source of the noise. And there, they found Asmodeus, crying about his belongings, being stolen. And of course, he blamed Mammon for it. Though he denied with all his might, none of them believed him. He was mad, upset even. He started going on about how much he hated the way they always blamed him, but when he saw their face, they weren't buying it, he could tell.

Driven by anger, he ran, fast as he could. After running for a few more miles, he lowered his pace, panting and running a finger through his locks. He sat on a huge boulder, rambling about how unfair it was, not noticing how, a mermaid was listening to all of his words. "Must be hard. Tell me, how do you deal with such hardships everyday?". He was startled. Was someone listening all along? "W-who are you?" he questioned the person, or rather, the mermaid. "My name is Mc", they continued, laying their back on the water and showing the mesmerising pattern of their tails,"And as you can see, I'm a mermaid". He was dumbfounded, but decided not to question it. "Names' Mammon, The Avatar of Greed. Impressed, are ya?". He smirked when he sees your widened eyes. He was a demon, but after hearing those stories about himself from him, you weren't afraid. "So about your brothers.." you spoke, as he, sighed and continued his rambling. He saw the way you listened intentively, nodding along to his rambling, no one has ever listened to his stories before, everyone saw him as an idiot, but you, you were so interested in his story. I dare say, it was this very moment that he, fell for you.

Troubles and problems had always occured in the House of Lamentation,though the most fearful demons, they were troublesome. But it was different this time. Satan had thrown a fit, complaining to Lucifer about how he just wanted a cat, and how unfair it was for Levi to have pets, but not him. Levi came out to see what the commotion was about, only to find Satan, pointing fingers at him, and he's pet, Henry 2.0. Levi wasn't happy about this, so he quickly called Diavolo, and brought his pet, Henry with him, to the beach. Why the beach, you may ask, well Henry was a fish, so to clear his mind and Henry's, the beach was the first that came to his mind.

The third born was furious. Henry was his only true friend, so how dare they point their fingers at him?! Stupid normie.

He looked around and noted that there was no one around. He asked his goldfish if he wanted to swim. The fish frantically swam around it's little tank. He then transformed to his demon form and summoned Lotan in the water "Come forth Lotan".

He, Henry 2.0 and Lotan were swimming in the water, minding their own business. But unluckily for them, a huge wave of water swept them apart, even him, Levi. He was drowning, couln't call Lotan for help. It was cold and his body froze, he couln't move and everything went blank. Next thing he knew, he was on the shore, with Henry and Lotan on the nearby shore, and a...mermaid? Was his own eyes decieving him? This is just like the anime he saw! 'I met a beautiful mermaid who became my bestfriend but I have a huge crush on her!' "Are you okay?" you asked, while he, was silent. Did you just talked? To him? A beautiful mermaid like you? Talking to a worthless yucky otaku like him? Is this heaven? Wait he's a demon. His thought were cut off by your voice, "Are you okay?" you repeated. "Y-yeah, t-thank you, beautiful mermaid person- NO! Wait I mean-!" he sputtered. You chuckled, finding him adorable. Unbeknownst to you, that he would become an important part of your life.

Satan

He had read books about them some time ago

But he didn't expect to actually see one

A beautiful one, at that

Nights in the Devildom was amazing, but couln't compare to the sight of the nights in the Human Realm. He was taking a walk in the beach. Walking for minutes and came across an old man. "Hello young sir, my name is Gerold", he introduced. "Hello Mr. Gerold, what could an old man possibly want from me?", he replied. Gerold laughed and stated, "You're pretty sharp, but I have a little problem here, you see". "What would that be?", asked Satan. "I have to use the bathroom but, as you can see, I'm busy fishing here, I have to fish so my family have food to eat", Satan nodded and replied "I see, I'll keep watch for you". The old man smiled and mumbled a little 'thank you', then left.

Satan was sitting on the raft, holding the rod on his hand and keeping a close eye for fishes in the sea. Luckily for him, he saw one, a big one at that. The poor old man could make a fortune with a fish this big for sure! "Ouch!". Huh? Who was that? He looked around but saw nothing, "Let me go!", there it was again! His eyes followed the source of the voice. A talking fish? No, is that a...mermaid? "Please let me go", they begged. Satan unhooked the mermaid and freed them. "T-thank you, young human" they said as he, chuckled and shooked his head. You tilted your head, raising an eyebrow, "I'm a demon, not a human". He smirked at your widened eyes, but he noticed your figure not stiffening. Weren't you scared of him? After all, he is a demon. "Mother told me demons were horrendous creatures, but, aren't you too handsome to be one?". His eyes widened in shock,but laughed it off. Ever since your little meeting, the both of you would meet up every once in a while, he's feelings for you deepening everytime.

Asmodeus

He was, again, going on with one of his schemes. Finding some beautiful clams that consisted of beautiful pearls inside. He had asked Diavolo for help, asking and practically, begging him to allow him for a visit to the Human World, and he, Diavolo, accepted his request wholeheartedly, much to Lucifer's disappointment. So, here he was , waking down the shore, finding for some clam.

But unexpected to him, he found something else. It was a beautiful mermaid, sitting on a huge rock and humming to themselves. How did he managed to find something so surreal, when all he did was looking for a mere clam? He walked over to you and spoke, "Hello, your tail is so mesmerising! Right after me of course!", he spoke with confidence, making you chuckle lightly. Minutes had passed, yet you two are still going on about the differences of the Ocean and the Devildom. When you rambled about your part of the world, he suddenly remembered about the clams he was supposed to find and asked you for help, you obliged. The both of you searched together, laughing along on the journey. He will remember this day,till the end of the world

The demon brothers were on a trip, celebrating their summer vacation. A certain demon with platinum white locks was going on about how exhausting the examination was, while a certain blonde demon stated that he, the demon with platinum white locks , wasn't even studying. The bickering between the two was cut short by a scream from a indigo haired demon. Going on about how amazing his brother, Beelzebub was. The brothers look to the ocean, where Levi was pointing, to see Beel, skillfully surfing in the middle of the ocean. The brothers were amazed, but unknown to them, you were seeing the whole thing too. Eyes gawking at the orange haired demon, his arm was put on both sides, not quite reaching him but enough to maintain his balance. His legs slightly spread apart, and his eyes focusing on the ocean. That was until he saw you,a mermaid, watching him in awe. He quickly lost his balance and fell to the ocean. He could hear his brothers screaming, chanting his name like some ritual. He swam across the surface of the ocean and grabbed his surfboard. He waved to his brothers , who sighed out of relief. He turned his head over to where you were, but only to realise you weren't there anymore. The sun quickly set and it was already time for dinner. He took his own share of the food, and told his brothers that he will be dining at the shore. The eldest brother, Lucifer, questioned this, but he quickly answered that he had always wanted to eat at the shore.

He walked over to the side of the ocean and sat on a rock, after a few minutes of silence, he spoke, "I have food, I don't like sharing but I'll make an exception for you, just because I want to see you again". There was silence, he waited and then spoke again,"If you don't want this then I'm eating it". "You do know that mermaids can't exactly eat fishes right?". Ah, there you were. "That means I can eat this right?" he said and started chewing on the food. You laughed at him in amusement. "Actually I have foods here with me, would you like some?". And that's the exact moment he fell for you.

Lucifer had works to do, more specifically, he had works to do at the Human Realm. But he couln't leave his brothers,after all, how could he? They were causing more troubles than usual. So he brought them with him, renting a hotel near the beach. Soon as the morning came, Belphie's eldest brother, Lucifer, had went off to work. And so, most of the brothers went out to their own likings, some going to the casino, some at the museum, the club or the restaurant. Only Leviathan was staying home that day, as belphie, went to take a nap on the side of the beach.

He heared some shuffling and some other noises. He opened his eyes to see a mermaid, staring at him, head slightly tilted and watched him out of curiosity. Your friends had told you to stay away from the shore, as it was dangerous, but you couln't help but be curious. Your tails glistened, scales reflecting the ray of the sun that filtered through the waves.

He had taught you so much within just a day, he gave you a device called D.D.D. to communicate easier, as he said. But just as the so called, D.D.D reached the water, it broke. "Of course" he continued, "Why didn't I think lf that-" he facepalmed himself. He taught you lots of intresting things you have never heared about. Safe to say,it was the best day of your life. And vice versa.
