Announcement: I’m switching blogs
TLDR: My new blog is here
So originally this blog began as a secondary blog for only SCP posts. However, I now use this one more than my primary blog, to the point where this really should be my primary.
Unfortunately, Tumblr does not let you switch primaries. My old primary still has a bunch of posts, and I don’t feel like deleting all of them to start fresh, so I’m starting an entirely new Tumblr account.
I will be copying and pasting my posts onto my newer blog, but I’m not deleting them from this account.

A little something I wrote based on my SCP Found Family AU idea. I named 053 Stella btw. Honestly I somehow thought that was her canon name but apparently she never had one, but it's too late to change that now.
Anyway, enjoy

The mask closed the book, pressing it onto the bedside table. The lamp cast a soft glow onto the leather cover, an old children's book 049 had found within his bag. Perhaps long ago a child’s hand had clutched the cover, reading the words before drifting into a dream.
It certainly had found a home again. And what a home it was.
053 gave a smile.
“One more story, please,” she muttered.
“It is time for bed, dear,” 049 gave a quiet chuckle.
“Please…” Stella mumbled. A yawn rose from her chest, betraying the child's wish as her head drifted onto the pillow. “I like it when dad reads.”
“I know, I know,” 035 smiled. He ran his fingers through her hair. Stella giggled as he ruffled the strands near the back. “I'll read to you tomorrow. Promise.”
“Okay,” she mumbled. “We're visiting 682 tomorrow, right?”
035 and 049 shared a glance. 682-- they almost winced at the name.
053 gazed at them through expecting eyes, wide and round in a child’s curiosity. How she had earned the affections of the Unkillable Reptile remained a mystery. Perhaps it didn't matter: She was their daughter, and she had found a friend who cared for her. Should a parent not be happy?
“Of course, flower,” 035 said, laying a last head pat against the back of her head. “Now, sweet dreams.”
“G’night…”
Her eyes closed.
Perhaps there was a time when rusted walls and steely gazes separated “monsters” and “evil" from society, when iron bars and cold calculation marked their lives. They never could forget the regret that twisted the faces of the SCPs, the sickly grey that smothered the air of that wretched Foundation.
The Foundation. They never could forget that place.
And now those walls knew laughter. Now those faces knew love. Now the defeated acceptance that haunted the air left something new and different and warm in its wake, and now those rooms knew life. Now those people knew love.
Within the soft lamplight, peaceful sleep overtook the child. Her masked fathers smiled.
Home, at last.

Ok but imagine,,,
Wholesome SCP AU where 049 and 035 take care of 053, basically becoming her fathers. 049j could be the older brother and 999 is the family pet.
I'm pretty sure it's canon that 049 met but couldn't cure 682 during cross-testing and ended up asking to leave. He and 035 would probably be reluctant to visit 682, but upon seeing how happy it makes their daughter, they still visit the reptile.

OP I don't know if you'll see this, but for anyone else who's worried about this, I understand that. Honestly the SCP fandom is kind of... Toxic? From what I've seen on Reddit, at least. But that sucks! Just know that it's not bad to have OCs, and it's okay if they go against canon. What really sucks is the fandom purism that turns potential new fans away out of fear like this.
As for your canon, maybe try putting it on AO3 or even Tumblr. I don't think they're as toxic, although fewer people may see it. I'm still relatively new to the SCP fandom too
"I’ve created multiple different universes of my own SCP canons with my own original characters plus different original locations but I’m really scared of showing it off since the community might hate it. I might have too much original characters which might overlap with the already billion other canon characters. they might think I’m making too many Mary Sues since some of them are related to the scarlet king in some way. (I try to make it good) I might portray a character in which no one likes. the plot twists might suck. i may be too focused on the lore/gods and not the other SCPs. I just don’t wanna make the community that have so much to me angry or disappointed. I want to make a story that will stick with them for years to come. I know I shouldn’t be scared but it still crosses my mind."
