Silence My Beating Heart
Silence my beating heart for I don't want to hear its tormented wails anymore. Its torturous cries echo in my ears and its anguished pleas are all I can hear. Stop its pitiful laments and let quietude come to me.
Silence my beating heart for I don't want to suffer anymore. Every beat is a catalyst for my misery - a dagger that pierces through the walls I've built to keep agony from reaching me.
Silence my beating heart for I can no longer keep the fragments of my shattered being together. The broken pieces are too many for my feeble hands to hold. I can no longer stop my countless wounds from bleeding.
Silence my beating heart before I lose my humanity.
My body has been mutilated by too much pain and suffering, can't you see?

She He Lost
You speak of love that's long been gone She whom you said has left your mind But your defense has come undone Your heart's desire, you cannot bind
Your eyes - they see what you can touch But yearns the smile of one you've lost You say you love who you hold, much But your words quaver, fingers crossed
Why does her face still hold your gaze Her voice - it sets your heart ablaze Her warmth the rainbow of the days That sent despair to your dim ways
She's been the home of love unsung You've forgotten her - this you claim But if bestowed your heart a tongue Do you think it would say the same?

Sea Nymph
You long for love that would bring you peace But that of the flesh is what they seek Swimming in shallow waters for an easy find But in the deepest oceans is where you reside
Found only by the truehearted and the brave Who's willing to dive past the raging waves Surrounded by waters no one dared to explore A nymph of the sea that is only longed for
Craved and admired by many from afar Who can't give you the truest gift you desire Forever trapped in someone's dream Who'll live with regret for not making you real

You long to be released from things that are holding you captive.
But all this time, you were the captor of yourself.
You were the one who refused to let go of things that are bringing you nothing but misery.
So don't ask to be free 'Cause all this time You were holding the key

Succumb to the pain Until it doesn't hurt anymore Until the last bit of care is drained And no more tears dare to flow
Until the only thing left is deep misery Enough for you to fully let go

We shouldn't be too confident That we can easily fool the naive And take advantage of the weak. Because once they learn to fight back, They're often more monstrous than us.

You can smile like you really mean it Laugh and pretend that you're at peace And fake happiness Like you don't feel empty on the inside
But the dull sparkle in your eyes Will never fail to betray you And reveal your true emotions That you've been trying so hard to hide

Rebounds
We were two broken souls that yearned for love To reignite the fire in our eyes Scarred by the ones we truly love So we sought comfort in each other's arms
Mending the wounds left by a bygone romance And savoring the taste of a newly bloomed love Knowing the faces etched on our minds Are of those with whom we share a deeper bond
You longed for comfort and so did I To ease the pain we've chosen to hide But one gave way more than the other - The fairytale we forged out of loneliness backfired
Maybe it's true that we were both victims in our own tales But how I wish you haven't become the villain in mine Because you left our little paradise whole But I, more broken than before

Fanged Sheep
A wolf clothed in a sheep's silken wool In search of the weak, he can easily fool Lying in wait for an angel's voice to call Something warm his sharp fangs can enjoy
The sound of agony is his source of delight Finding pleasure in the fear in their eyes The hands that fed him became his savory meal Their mercy is nothing when it's his time to kill
But the naive who learned how to wield a sword Made the wolf beg for his life on bended knee Giving him a taste of the atrocity he deserved With bloodthirsty eyes that made the life in him flee
The wolf had met his match at last A creature more monstrous than him Someone weak and naive in the past Once a fool, but learned to fight back AND WIN

Midnight Symphony
My muted cries sync with the mumbling of the midnight moon
Along with the melancholic whistles of trees sympathizing with my forlorn songs
The gentle breeze even sings a requiem with grace
Mourning for a heart that failed to be where she truly belongs
This whimsical symphony is what kept my deranged mind sane
On nights when darkness has wrapped me in its cold embrace
A melody that'll forever live to numb my pain

If I Were Santa Claus
And you asked me to make you forget or take away your pain, I would refuse and here's why.
*** ON PAIN
Your pain is like a seed that grows when watered with healing and bears fruits of wisdom. They're trees that thrive in the land of experience and live symbiotically with your growth.
Just like how trees keep the soil strong and help build resilience, your pain strengthens your foundations so you can withstand storms of obstacles that life throws at you.
Your pain is a struggle you need to fully experience and deal with to mold you into the best version of yourself.
They are sparks born from tragedy that should keep the dying embers of your fighting spirit ablaze.
*** ON HEALING
Remember that the strongest gems are formed under extreme conditions.
So to shape you into the warrior that you ought to be, you need to go through the excruciating process of healing where your sword will be sharpened and your armor strengthened.
It's a journey that you need to take till you reach the finish line, willingly or not.
It's a battle between you and your mind that you need to overcome. A war where the victor wins a priceless prize that no one can easily take - the invincible power of strength and wisdom combined.
*** SO IF I WERE SANTA CLAUS
So if I were Santa Claus and you asked me to make you forget or take away your pain, I would refuse.
Because If I am to take away the very thing that is fueling your growth, how will you survive in a cruel world with a child's weak heart and naive mind?
How are you going to conquer wars with a blunt sword and without strong armor? How will you win triumph's favor without the pressure of reality crushing you first?
Your pain is temporary.
But the person you become and the experience and lessons you gain? They're permanent.
*** CHOOSE TO HEAL
So choose to heal rather than allow your wounds to quench the fire you've suffered enough for just to keep it burning. You've already conquered a lot of battles just to give up on the war now.
Have the courage to finally let go of the things that have turned your dreams into nightmares before darkness entirely consumes the remaining light in you.
Don't keep on wandering miserably in the void between shadows and sunrays. Put both of your feet in the light.
Calm the chaos within you with a dance of devotion to healing and a love song to woo inner peace.
*** LEAVE THE PAST BEHIND
Leave the past behind and face the present. It's time to start a new chapter where endings are beginnings that are worth looking forward to. May your misty-eyed goodbyes be the last gift you offer your past.
Break the chains that are binding you to misery and may the flames of hopeful beginnings warm your shivering heart.
Spread your wings wide and let us learn to fly once again together in the last month of the year.

Think of Me..
Think of me when you are lonely When you hear sad love songs While you ponder on the maybes
Think of me when the nights are long When the sheets are turning cold And you need someone for you to hold
Think of me when you are feeling empty When nobody seems to understand you Wishing for someone who could see The pain you're going through
Think of me when you can no longer hold back the tears When you desperately need someone to keep you afloat When you want your silent pleas to be heard
I won't be there to hold you To wipe your tears To hear your pleas And say words to comfort you
But may the memories you have of me Be enough to soothe the pain And push you to endure another day

A Gasp of Air
Read into my melancholia, I plead As you look into my beseeching eyes End the war within me, let me be freed From he who seized my breath, muffled my cries
I refuse to be forever his slave So until freedom comes, help me be brave Let life's pawns break into his barricades Save the tree of living as hope pervades
Release me, let me breathe A gasp of air, I seek Allow it to travel deep Revive a breather gone bleak

Tell me, how can we ever learn to believe If the images painted by their words Are different from what we actually see?
When the artist only crafts masterpieces to deceive And lure the eager and curious ones Into a world of imitated fantasy That's only filled with misery?

Empathy
If only everyone would care to listen and not only hear, Maybe no burden would be too heavy to bear.
If only everyone would take the time to see and not only look, Maybe we would all have the courage to be an open book.
If only there was someone who chose to empathize, Maybe no one would be drowning in their silent cries.
Even just one soul would be more than enough, Just one who could see the pain behind every laugh.

We often create a world of fantasy A make-believe paradise where we can have Our own version of reality
But why do we prefer staying In a place that doesn't really exist?
Because it's only in our dreams That we can find peace
So we choose to abandon our realities Just so we can escape from our demons That we're not brave enough to face

Say the words I want to hear Speak with tenderness Whisper so softly in my ears
Make me swoon At the sound of your voice I don't need a fairytale
I just want to be reminded Of how beautiful young love is When our hearts were still pure
Before reality taught us That falling is something We should learn to fear
