skin experiment n2 - this time a caucasian skin, my friend helped me make the base and im just remixing it as i go, im gonna try an asian skin next and as well as southeast asian, idk if will ever release those skins to the public, i would have to ask permission of the original creators to do so.

base skin was SKIN N27 A by obscurus as the eyelids

a little explanation of my last few posts and why ive been gone from posting sims: i was (still am) going through a very delicate moment psychologically, i was feeling very sad and anxious abt ny future, my career, my college, an amalgamation of things that made me sad, so when i had my most recent anxiety crisis i ended doing something bad to myself, and that's it.

but recently i went to a professional, talked to my parents and now im being medicated, its only been 2 days so i can't say im feeling 100% happy, but having my family supporting me through this journey has been really good for my mind!

and also thank you for all the beautiful souls that although unknown to me, took some time to check up on me and provided me with help

that's all, i hope to see you guys soon with new posts and maybe some updated cc links! byeeee, wish me luck on this new path in my life💜💜💜

Hiii. Total stranger here but I’m following your blog and I saw your last few posts and they have me concerned. I was going to ask if you were okay, but considering your last post, I thought it would be dumb to ask because it doesn’t seem like you’re okay. I know you don’t know me, and I don’t know your personal struggles, but I’ve been struggling with depressive thoughts for about 20 years now. I was fortunate enough to be put on medication, but not everyone is. I would like to ask if you’ve considered trying antidepressants? Or if that’s not viable or daunting, do you have anyone you can go to when you’re feeling low?

ty for you concern i havent tried medications yet bcs i havent had the chance to do any kind of therapy i still live with my parents and they pretty much pay for everything for me, so idk if they will even let me do it. i have people around me but i feel like my problems are nothing compared to theirs so i just keep it to myself ty for your concern again i will try to get better

Looking for collaborators!!!

Here's a project I've been noodling on for some time now -- using ERSGANs to upscale Sims textures! I'm quite excited about the results so far. It's bittersweet to post about this though. I was hoping to collaborate with CmarNYC's on updating the HQConverter to use new techniques for upscaling. Without CmarNYC's HQ Converter, the current HQ mod would not even have been possible. Her contributions to the Sims community were so helpful and ubiquitous and she will be remembered. So right now the TS4k Upscale mod is a semi-manual process, of exporting textures using Sims 4 Studio, then upscaling those using chaiNNer, and importing those upscaled textures back into the package. So these screenshots are just a proof-of-concept. The program I'm imagining would be a blend of S4pi or S4TK, and using pytorch to upscale extracted images.

I can handle the Python portion, but I unfortunately do not know C# or JS. Admittedly I started this project last year and looked into the HQConverter source and S4pi and and then got overwhelmed. So... if anybody who is a little more savvy with C#/S4pi (or JS/S4TK) want to collaborate on creating the program together, please let me know. I would love to make this project a reality some day!
