Eldritch speaking Kris gave me the image of, once they find Asgore and Toriel, they start cursing them both out in eldritch language by accident, and Ralsei has to intervene, but it's also in Eldritch, and neither Toriel nor Asgore know what they're saying

It might stop being threatening and then end up a little comical! They don't even comprehend that they're being insulted!

concerning your art, how do you draw creepy stuff? Especially with EldritchRune, I was wondering how you draw really creepy monsters, I’m just trying to take notes from other artists to see what makes their creepy art so good.

Ah man, that's probably hard to pin down, because creepy's a broad definition that people can approach in a lot of different ways! I feel like one of the easiest ways to make things creepy is just to take something that's familiar and known to us, and change it in various ways...too many teeth for this thing's mouth, limbs are too long for its proportions, skin missing where there should be some, too many or not enough eyes, nails and hair look too long or unkempt, etc. It obviously depends on what direction you want to take it in, but it's both pretty simple and fun to tweak something we know pretty well into something uncanny just by altering some of its features!

How do you keep up the motivation to do projects?

Sometimes the motivation is as inconsistent as "work on everything else and put off this specific project for a month, then finish the next part of the project in a day".

I'm not sure my thoughts on motivation would apply, because I'm not really the ADHD sort of ND, which it kiiinda sounds like you might be in this case? I've never really worried about motivation because what really keeps me going is set, carefully scheduled routine. If I have a day where I'm like "okay, these works/chores are done, this is now DRAWING TIME" then I actually get more antsy if something suddenly breaks me out of that set drawing time. Subsequently, I can't do like 14-hour long massive sessions where the motivation all comes at once and I get a ton done on one project. I have to have scheduled breaks for meals, chores, sleep, etc.

It may or may not be something you can get to work for you, depending on how your brain deals with creative projects. All I can say is that, at least for me, I can't rely on motivation alone to keep consistency...but the mechanical process of the work is enough for me to stick at it. If you can find your own method to rely on things other than motivation, whatever that may be, it'll probably help you a lot!

Kris in Paper Trail is the same age as they are in canon, which I've always assumed to be 16.

if you want to work the vessel into eldritchrune, you could use a Doppelganger-like thing. A thing that wants Kris's soul so it can take their place, that looks like Kris but not quite.

Unfortunately, this mostly just makes me think of a Ben Drowned kind of scenario...slightly uncanny copy of the hero following them around. D:

Since you said that the eldritch magic stuff Kris got from Ralsei does that two-way translation thingy so Kris and the Beasts can understand each other, I wonder if Kris would accidentally get a bit of eldritch language in their speech without realising. Like when they get back, not only do they have bitchin' long hair and a baker's dozen eldrich beasts at their command, they're mixing their language and the eldritch language and every other word is incomprehensible and maybe the grammar's a little fucked up too but as far as they're aware they're speaking regular old English

That certainly seems like the sort of thing that could happen! Especially since a good chunk of Kris's conversations for a whole year would be happening with the beasts, their speech could just naturally pick up some uncanny or incomprehensible language quirks that they don't even notice are there until talking to another human.
