hey, so my first day went pretty alright actually

my geometry teacher had us fill an introduction form and i almost flew out of my seat when it asked for our pronouns. not once had any teacher ask us for pronouns and for this to happen to me, brings so much euphoria like yayy no more default pronouns for me!

basically all of my teachers are pretty nice! (at least i hope it stays that way)

oh yeah also update here! i will be moving over to @lume-nosity, i just need to move shit around is all.. it’s too much work to be dealt with, but it’ll be worth it in the end. and don’t worry! my works aren’t going anywhere and are staying right as they are. im just going to move my masterlist over to my new blog! i might make a new masterlist just so things can be separated and neat. one for this, and one for the new blog. (memories of three months :sob:) and yes, it’ll still be a multifandom blog. this decision isn’t final though, because im still thinking of how to arrange some things

this will take a while i can feel it..but good news! i’ve finished up my current school works and am free for this weekend! so maybe during the duration, i will make changes between the two blogs :)

hehe.. im going back to school tomorrow, so i’ll be on a semi-hiatus for the time being. but no worries! once im finished with my work, other stuff school has to throw at me, or even by some miracle im not assigned any homework, i will try to upload a lil random post of sorts

also, i’ve been thinking about moving blogs. particularly to this one: @qlowinqstarslume. because honestly it’s been sitting there for 2 months and i want to use it. it’s even a primary blog!!! i’ve been complaining about side blogs to primary blogs for days on end so using that would defuse the problem abajskv

when i do move, i’ll make an announcement post about it. it’ll be a lot of work to switch stuff around but i’ll do anything to have me stop switching accounts around

"oh, that guy? i don’t know why, but some people say that he and i are very much alike and quite frankly, i find it flattering. we have a way with words, we tend to explore the world, collected maple leaves and wow, to be viewed as someone you look up to oh so much is just- ahem sorry, excuse me, a crystalfly flew into my mouth. what i meant to say is that he’d be the perfect guy to go to when you feel the need to sleep. a few words out of him and you’re already knocked out on the floor. but jokes aside, don’t judge a book by its cover. he may be a carefree person, but he’s scary. ugh, that time when he threatened to break someone’s arms??? completely caught me and the traveler off guard. so, it’s best to get on his good side."

about ganyu

"she and i are really close friends actually! i remember when ganyu invited me for a cute little picnic and i was distracted by her horns. oh my god her horns. i’ve always wanted to touch them, but was too hesitant to ask because i didn’t want to make her uncomfortable in the slightest nor give in to my impulsive thoughts. damn you, weird desires! anyways, i wish ganyu would take breaks like that more often. because it’s bad to overwork yourself to the brim! i’ve been telling her that so many times! i know she’s trying, but if she was the one who invited me to a picnic, then i’ll invite her to go sightseeing with me when i have the chance. anything to get her away from her responsibilities for a while."

"look, before you say anything yes, he and i know each other courtesy to ganyu. xiao and i are like sparring buddies. why? i personally asked him. and man, was that a stupid move. every time we spar, my ass gets handed to me every session. because duh, he’s an adeptus and im more suited as a healer! but overtime i started to get used to the beatings but he gave some useful tips to help me improve! with..a sharp tone. but im surprised he dealt with me for this long! i would’ve lost my marbles right then and there. and even though the spars were very torturous, it’s honestly not all that bad. because i’ve noticed xiao’s been holding back despite me getting a bit of improvement for every sparring session. xiao is a pretty caring guy, he just has that tough exterior you know? but i do hope he and i would get along outside of sparring, maybe i’ll whip up a plate of almond tofu! even though my culinary experience is very limited and i almost blew up the inn’s kitchen, i still want to return the favor to xiao. he deserves it for all he’s done for me and for us. it’s thanks to him that im getting better bit by bit with my combat skills and that we’re all still in one piece. even if he denies it, im still going to give him my gratitude."

"oh! i met her at the adventurer’s guild! she was going on and on about being this ‘prinzessin der verurteilung’ and other stuff but honestly, i don’t mind her so-called ‘essay talk’ because i don’t find it annoying at all. she’s pretty cool and has a gorgeous fashion taste. seeing someone being immersed into what they’re doing brings a smile to my face. if whatever she’s doing makes her happy, then im all in for it."

about the traveler

"after they’ve told me about how they’re trying to reunite with their twin after being stopped by an unknown god and was separated by their twin in the process, i feel all sorts of emotions rushing through my veins. they’ve been here, for this long, being occupied with incompetent chores and errands because people chose to not do it themselves. i’ve heard of so many stories about them. they’ve been through so much! it’s mind boggling how these people didn’t pay no mind to what they’re actually here for. it’s hilarious how they’re that numbskulled. except for a select few of people; the ones who actually help the traveler, they have my respect. i pity the traveler hard, and sometimes i offer to accompany them on their travels. when we do travel together, we’re like the dynamic duo!….plus paimon."

Amidst the Blossoms

Xiao x Gn!Reader

summary: you know that xiao’s always been busy with his duties plus having to endure his karmic debt day by day and you wanted him to take a break from his responsibilities. even if it’s for one day. one day of being in each other’s presence, hoping to soothe his karma somewhat…and to be closer with him.

an: so.. i just pulled this random scenario out of my ass. i haven’t been writing short fics for a while so im not sure how this’ll end up since i don’t proofread aaa but i hope you all enjoy nonetheless :). i was pretty happy with the writing progress of this though

genre: fluff, kinda reverse comfort, oneshot

“Tell me, what was the reason of bringing me here.” Xiao asked with his arms crossed, clearly not fond of being dragged away in a secluded area without question.

The area you both are currently residing in is full of all sorts of flowers. Glaze Lilies, Qingxins, Sweet Flowers, all inhabited in one area. No monsters, no disturbances, nothing.

The location seemed to be.. too comfortable for Xiao’s tastes. He’s a bit tense about it, thinking something is bound to happen at anytime and anywhere. But that’s how he is, having to be on guard 24/7. Even at times of tranquility.

“Ah, yeah, I’m sorry for suddenly dragging you here out of the blue.. I got a little excited bringing you here is all,” You scratched your head nervously, thinking he’s probably in an irritated mood because of it.

“What are you sorry for?” He raised a brow.

“Huh?” You stopped scratching your head and glanced at him curiously.

He releases his arms. “I said what are you sorry for. What’s there to be apologetic over a mere question?”

You blinked. “I thought you were.. I don’t know, angry? At what I did?” You shrugged a bit.

“No. Why would I be furious about.. Never mind. Mortals are incomprehensible.” He looked in the other direction avoiding your eyes.

You placed your hand onto your chin in thought. Now you’re just very confused. You know he doesn’t understand mortals but that is not why you’re confused. It’s about him not being angry with you for dragging him to a place he most likely has never went before. Should it be anyone else, he’d probably be annoyed and vanish. But this is about you and judging from his tone, despite it being a little sharp, he doesn’t seem to be annoyed of you in the slightest. Maybe overtime he’s grown comfortable of your company; you made a mental note to yourself. He turned to meet your gaze, catching your attention. “Now, answer my question.”

Your jaw went slightly agape but you shook your head. You mentally scolded yourself for trying to make a fool of yourself in-front of the great Yaksha. You really ought to lower your overexaggeration.

But who could blame you for growing such a liking to him?

“I’d thought to take some time off the world to relax in an open field of flowers, and I wanted to bring you along with me to share the feeling as well.”

You noticed he was mumbling to himself.

“Xiao? Is something wrong?”

“This place is too quiet. You shouldn’t let your guard down so easily, you’ll never know when danger strikes.”

You softly chuckled to yourself and attempted to reassure him. “I know, but this area I’ve chosen specifically is completely empty. Trust me, I’ve been here many times and not once has a single hilichurl popped up.”

He doesn’t respond. He gazed at the setting sun instead.

“I understand your intentions, but I have no need for relaxation. Even if you insist that this area is safe, you still can’t ignore your surroundings.”

You sighed and gazed over at the setting sun as well. Letting the winds blow through the both of you.

“Well, take a look around Xiao. Do you see anything that’s out of the ordinary?”

He glanced over at you before looking back to quickly scan the area with his keen eyesight.

“There..doesn’t seem to be anything peculiar.”

“See??? What I told you! And plus, I personally think you needed the break even if you keep saying you don’t. You know damn well you do after all you’ve done for us.” You gave a small smirk.

He sighed before showing his back to you. “It’s my duty, I don’t need any sort of hospitality.”

You practically pouted. ‘He’s so stubborn for no reason..’ You thought to yourself.

He turned his head slightly towards you. “I appreciate the kind gesture, but I’ll be leaving.” As he was about to walk away you grabbed his wrist which made him stutter in his tracks, eyes widened in shock.

You didn’t realize what’ve you done until you looked down to see what made Xiao stop abruptly. Because of this, you retracted your hand before he says anything.

“I’m so sorry Xiao! I didn’t know what came over me!” You flailed your arms around and spouted out apologies left and right in hopes of having the Yaksha pardon you as you’re aware he’s not used to physical contact.

Xiao was trying to process what just happened. He was clearly taken aback by your action, but at the same time the warmth of your hand seemed to alleviate his karmic debt for a few seconds. It felt like he was enveloped by a wave of clouds; a state of reclusiveness. It’s something he hasn’t felt in centuries. Those countless years of torment all but dissipated in the atmosphere. He wasn’t hearing your onslaught of apologies since he’s hypnotized by the warm feeling.

That is until you let go of his wrist that brings him back to reality.

“I just wanted you to take some time off from your duties by resting in an area I’ve always come to whenever I feel uneasy or feeling the need of a break, I know I’ve probably said that many times already but it’s true. You’ve been working so hard to protect Liyue, and not once has someone returned the favor to you as far as I know. This is just a token of my appreciation for all you’ve done for us. So please, reconsider.”

Silence, a comfortable silence. Only the howling winds and chirping birds. His back still facing you and you clasping your hands together in a pleading position. Both of you haven’t said anything for a few seconds, until Xiao broke the silence.

“You are a persistent mortal.”

A sound of surprise escaped your lips.

“Though since it’s you…I suppose I’ll accompany you.” His body is now fully facing you.

Your eyes sparkled and you’re seething in euphoria. You didn’t expect to actually convince the Yaksha to stay, as your final words of pleading were going to be your last chance before you let him depart. But it was a success.

You smiled at him before grabbing his wrist again which he was about to say something but you led him towards an area where you both are able to see the sun setting more close. It’s edging towards nightfall, and there’s no need to worry. Because you have Xiao by your side.

As you were in awe by the view, you didn’t notice his hand had moved down to your hand and giving it a light squeeze.

well i think i won & lost today

i won bc i share a class with four or more friends (one of them being my very close, as they’re the reason i started this blog :D) i get the same history & gym teacher from last school year (i love them both), and i have gym with a friend <3
