I love re-watch this scene, i love this song (and i'm so sad that it's been removed from spotify but ok whatever). It's incredibly emotional, that's all. Mickey is so protective, there are so many thoughts on his face. And this silent talk with Svetlana screams very loudly for me. I just like to think that at this moment Mickey is thinking about how much he loves Ian and how glad he is that he's finally here. At his home. In his bed.

She's young. Has got ginger hair. She won't get any older. Not anymore… all due to a fucking drunk driver.
Her trapeze dress used to be blue.
Ian presses his palm into his eyes and reaches for the intercom. It's been a fucking shit day. But he’s got to tell dispatch that they're open to take the next emergency.
“Car 28 here…”
“What's wrong?”
Ian's gasps. Mickey. Who can read Ian's voice like an open book. So he starts talking.
“Fuck... Life's fucking unfair.”
“Yeah. Yeah, it is.”
“I can stay on call, if…"
“Yes. Keep talking to me. Please.”

Except he's doing pull-ups and Mickey's not in the least bit fazed.
Well, maybe just a little. Fucker’s lanky as hell but he's way stronger than anyone would suspect. And there's something about the little grunts he lets out and the way the muscles shift under his skin.
In fact, Mickey has to subtly adjust himself in his jeans.
‘I call this the trapeze,’ Gallagher pants all of a sudden, arms twisted in an unnatural position.
Mickey rolls his eyes.
‘Why?’ he challenges.
