With the overturning of Roe v. Wade, I need to let people know how dangerous the healthcare privacy climate is now. As someone that works with PHI (protected health information) I want to stress that HIPAA (the law that prevents your health data from being shared) does not apply to healthcare apps. These are incredibly dangerous to use, not only because law enforcement can procure a subpoena to access this information, but because these apps can sell your health data to any third partyāpotentially anti-abortion activists. Anyone with a uterus should delete not only period trackers, but mental health apps, because if you have a miscarriage or seek an abortion in a state that outlaws it, your mental health history can be used against you.
I would also discourage people from using online therapy apps like BetterHelp and Talkspace. Though BetterHelp says they are HIPAA compliant, that is a lie. They have shared data with Facebook. Their most recent privacy policy update says āWe may share your information in connection with an asset sale, merger, bankruptcy, or other business transaction.ā Any data breach could put your information at risk. Any health app could suddenly decide to change their privacy policies without notice.
Most responsible clinicians put your health data under (many times literally) lock and key. PHI software like Epic or Cerner have numerous failsafes to prevent data leaks. This is not the case for apps. BetterHelp and healthcare apps in general do not care about this. They only care about money. Do not trust any app or healthcare provider that operates strictly online. And for your own sake, use a VPN if youāre searching for abortion providers or advice.

Despite the DOOM (2016) saga ending once The Ancient Gods Part 2 released, it is NOT the ending for the franchise. I've read some articles and Hugo Martin made it clear that there was most likely going to be future DOOM games since it's canon that the Doom Slayer is in every universe and is timeless.
Here's the full article for those who are interested. Also, Hugo may be hinting that there may be a game that takes place during The Slayer's time in Argent D'Nur. Then again, I may be wrong so take all of this with a grain of salt.

I had to wake up and find out that there was a mass shooting of 8 and out of those people 6 were Asian women, the head police are trying to fucking defend the shooter by saying it's not confirmed that it was a hate crime and it was just a bad day, and with a cherry on top, anti-Asian hate crimes rose by 150% in America in the last year.
I am Filipino American. This fucking disgusts me. My heart goes out to others who feel pain, sadness, rage, disgust, offended, afraid, stressed, and many more.

I'm making this my new fucking background for my laptop. But anyway, I'm just going to comment on things that I noticed in this beautiful art. Also, Avengers Endgame: Doom Eternal Edition.
GIANT MECH. This is most likely the giant mech the Doom Slayer has been working on at the bottom of the Doom Fortress or something around those lines. I mean, look at it! Look at the shoulder plating and shit! It practically screams "DOOM SLAYER"
Also here's a fun little theory: What if Vega is the one operating it like he does with the doom fortress? Since he no longer can go into his physical form. We all know that he got his memories back in tag1 but what if DG SOMEHOW convinces him to join the fight? Maybe to reverse Samur or do something about it.
Along with that, GIANT DEMON THAT I OH SO RECOGNIZE FROM THE CODEX OF THE SENTINELS. This gonna be a fucking kaiju battle and I'm all in for it.
On the other hand, DRAGON????? BRO IMAGINE IF THE SLAYER GETS TO RIDE ON THOSE???
The Betrayer is also here. I think it's pretty obvious that The Slayer is going to return to him amd convince him to lead an army of Night Sentinels. But since they're both cast off from Sentinel Prime, I wonder how they're going to lead them.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but this can either take place in The Lost City of Hebeth or somewhere in Hell.
What is this. It looks like a biblically accurate angel.
My mans Doom Slayer is already fucking 6'8". Davoth is probably fucking 12 foot tall in that suit.
Conclusion (maybe, I'll probably add more later on): this is going to be the most epic dlc and you can't tell me otherwise. Game Awards 2020 are FUCKING missing out and pissing their pants. Also, I'm looking forward to the Sentinel vs Marauder fights.

I am shocked with how little Doom fics out there are, thank you so much with providing us with such wonderfull stories
Not gonna lie, same here. I'm not the best when it comes to writing fanfictions and stuff like this but it's fun. Unfortunately, because I've been busy with school, other fandoms I've gotten more interested in, and lack of motivation, I don't do DOOM fics as much as I'd like to do.
Excluding this ask, I apologize to all those who requested me. I don't want to write fanfics and have it feel like a chore. Fanfics should be fun for the readers and writers in my opinion. This doesn't mean that I'll give up on the requests, it's just that I'll write it when I have the time and motivation. Which I don't know when. Regardless, I am SO APPRECIATIVE OF ALL THE SUPPORT FROM EVERYONE. Like seriously, reading stuff like this and seeing people enjoy what I created is amazing and gives an amazing feeling I can't describe. Thank you, everyone. It means so much to me. <3
