Gilmore Girls: MBTI Pt. 1

Frozen: MBTI

I just saw Frozen 2 and thought this would be appropriate.

Elsa: ISTJ (Si-Te-Fi-Ne) (Previously I typed her as a ISFJ - after some more thought Elsa seems to have more Fi than Fe.)

It’s obvious that Elsa does not like change, which is a major sign of Introverted Sensing (Si). You see this function even more in the second movie when she uses her powers to look into the past to find the truth despite the possible consequences. Can you get anymore Si than that?! Anyone with Si in their stack knows what it’s like to go too far looking into the past.

Elsa can come across as icy (lol) because she keeps her feelings hidden. You can see her Extroverted Thinking (Te) clearly when she tells Anna maybe?? not? to MARRY a guy she just met??? Elsa speaks using more logic than emotion which can hurt others around her even when she is just trying to protect them.

Elsa is very compassionate and strives to do what she views as the right thing. Her Introverted Feeling (Fi) is based on her past experiences and logic. Elsa strives to learn from the past and be practical. In the first movies she sees running away as the only option because her gift almost killed Anna when they were children. She held on to that memory for years and let it guide her life.

Now, the last function in Elsa’s stack in Extroverted Intuition (Ne). This is where she struggles a lot. Elsa is smart, persistent, and brave but she struggles with seeing multiple options and can get stuck in her own ways. We see that in the beginning of the first movie when she locks herself in her room, ignoring Anna. She decided that it was the only way to protect Anna and was unwilling to listen to any other alternatives.
