Miraculous Ladybug Chat Blanc Thoughts

Warning :

Of course this is just my thoughts and opinions, I hope I do not offend any potential readers of the post or anything like that.

Episodes like this and Loveater make me wonder if the writers of the show are trying to show us that a love between Marinette and Adrien just isn’t possible for numerous reasons. We could argue that if certain things were changed in the reality where Adrien still knew Ladybug was Marinette like if Natalie wasn’t by the window watching Adrien transform into Chat Noir, or if they never publicized their relationship. But I think there wouldve always been an event to lead to a similar future we saw in Chat Blanc.

Putting Gabriel and Natalie aside, the way Adrien reacted in the “future” after finding out about Marinette being Ladybug was a little unsettling too. He was obsessed with Marinette and didn’t give a second thought to destroying the world.

I think that the only way Marinette and Adrien could actually end up together is if the miraculous were eradicated from the Miraculous universe, letting Marinette and Adrien be free from their double life, and falling for eachother for who they see without the costumes. This would force Gabriel to come to terms with his lost love, and even preventing Natalie from worsening her health.

Haikyuu Chapter 369: The Third Years Graduation

As expected there is a lot of overall mixed feelings swirling around the latest Haikyuu chapter as we are given both too much and too little content to process. Iv’e seen a lot of fans concerned about the final panel that hints towards Hinata joining a Brazilian volleyball team, but I can’t be the only one that feels we lacked the awaited content for the third years’ final farewell.

On one hand I realized, (after I calmed down from my initial shock) Fuurudate’s message was that this was not the end for our beloved third years; that theres more to their story than just high school. Yet, despite this, I can’t help that feel although their story isn’t finished, it was the end to a major chapter for them, and both the characters and us as an audience didn’t get the closure that we deserved.

I will admit that I have not been keeping up with the manga, meaning I only know of the events shown in the anime as well as a few spoilers from the manga, but even so, as I saw the announcement of the third year’s graduation, I was expecting to open a chapter and be filled with overwhelming pride and bittersweet tears. In just a few seasons, Fuurudate had made us come to love these characters dearly, and to see them move on (though again, I am aware they are not completely gone from the series) to such a big stage in their lives was something I think I can safely say we all looked forward to seeing. Fuurudate is amazing at showing the development of his characters, but not all of it has to be on the volleyball court.

I would have loved to see more than just a chorus of “thank yous” from Karasuno as the third years see them off with a smile. Similar to the clip of what happened after Shiratorizawa lost to Karasuno (link to the video here), I would have loved to see Daichi’s final words to the team as the captian, Kiyoko wishing Yachi luck as the manager ect.

I am still excited for season 4 and the content Fuurudate continues to bring us, but I hope I am not the only one with these thoughts.

Tokoyami Vs. Moonfish

I saw a post somewhere that suggested Tokoyami cries in the training camp arc when he is over taken by dark shadow, but I had some other thoughts.

As an anime only watcher, I don’t know if it’s cannon, but the post said he cries because he was scared of hurting his classmates. But what if it was because when dark shadow takes over, Tokoyami experiences his depression or depressive thoughts at the least forcibly over taking his mind? Dark shadow is shown to cover Tokoyami’s head making me wonder if dark shadow is trying to control his thoughts as well as his body overall. Similar to a panic attack, Tokoyami is overwhelmed at the dark thoughts and fears contained within dark shadow. Villain like thoughts running wild through his mind uncontrollable while Tokoyami is helpless to fight against it is terrifying.
