Do they fit better as the people they are now? Is it fair to bring it up... ever?#Is it unfair to expect Steve to suppress everything? And I think I land on the side of wanting them to be honest with each other.#Nancy's not a free agent. She can't act on anything she may feel at inopportune moments but at the same time I think she needs to hear it.#I think she might have outgrown her relationship with Jonathan. And if so I think that scares her. I don't want her ending up with Steve#because he's safe. And boy is he safe. His expectations are essentially zero. And she won't lose him as a friend whatever happens.#So I don't know what to wish for. Will made me tear up so I'm pretty sure Nancy and Steve could make me cry.#But maybe that's cathartic? Like they grew up. And eventually they have to leave this horrible town. But the whole experience was worth it.#...The little shipper voice in my head says a happy ending could also be good XD#**** this colouring. BLUE IS THE WORST.

Watching Nancy negotiate down from 6 nuggets#to a more manageable 3 and a dog and noting that she's not spending EVERY summer trapped in an RV with him and that this is a far distant#future because she needs to go to college and get a career first. But if they survive Vecna - then sure many some of the dream can be#a reality.#Ugh there's something about Steve being sad that just feels wrong.#And I want Nancy to be happy too. Like everyone who is not dead by the finale needs to be happy. Coz the last few years have been a lot.

Except Vecna's backstory got interesting and it sucked me in and I had to go back and watch all of it.#And now Steve and Nancy are making me ship them and it's been so long since I watched ST that I FORGOT they used to date in the#first place. And they all grew up so much and they're doing that THING where they bicker and act like kids in amongst all the#heavy sh*t and I... I don't even like Will - I'm just going to admit that but that scene in the car made me tear up and made me want#good things for him. And I like that they face things together. All the kids plus Hopper and Joyce. They're a team. And they're ride or die.#And it was simpler in the earlier scenes to have a favourite dynamic but there's so much good stuff in S4... but if I had to choose it's#Steve Nancy and Robin being all OT3#I love that Robin automatically goes down on one knee#and that Steve's there to help Nancy up on the other side#That last gif alone would have been enough for me to start shipping Steve and Nancy again. Nothing else needed to happen.

I mean Steve is her hype man and he's lovely but sometimes it's nice to have a#choice of who you talk to#and Nancy needs a friend her age who isn't possibly in love with her#and I love that Robin is happy to keep Steve grounded#like yeh that was really cool but it will be a cold day in hell before I ever admit that#don't look at us for approval#Also the costume people on this show deserve awards. I love everything that everyone's wearing.

I need new shows. Always.#And I always feel like my favourite characters sometimes sneak up on me but there's probably some correlation I can't see that's obvious#from the outside. But Stranger Things has me sort of twitchy with anticipation so I need to gif and think about something else#so I just watched my first full episode and oops it was episode 9 :/#I don't have a good grasp of any of the characters. I know very few names. I don't know where they're going or where they've been.#But I'm liking this dynamic very much.#The fun thing about only watching 1 episode in the middle of a series is now I'm wondering if some of the crew dies each episode#Have they got a temp agency on standby with replacements? A waitlist? Does the Captain have to sit down at the end of the season#with a stone faced HR and a chart showing how many new recruits he's gone through that could have had perfectly good careers elsewhere?#Regarding these 2 I really like how she approaches him - theres a lot teasing and listening and genuine affection.#I also f**king love her styling. The whole look is working for me. IDK that anyone else had a chance of being my favourite.#And I think my third fav character is currently Other Kirk guy because I really appreciated how little he wanted to be on the away mission#but when I go back and watch all the other eps he's probably going to slip down the list a little

So I have a lot of what could have been feelings#And I don't understand why Dominic wasn't in it just for a couple seconds#or why they couldn't just do a FULL show of just the OGs or even just the OGs I like XD#Ray and Rip and Len and Mick and Sara and Jax... everyone else can take a coma nap.#Or it turns out everyone but Sara is an AI in a complicated simulation program.#Their personalities were way off so I assume this wasn't just Gideon's memories or whatever of the old days#It would have been nice to maybe do a parallel waverider one#where Rip never abandons them#and wtf was Hawkman doing there#I wouldn't really count him as a Legend more like Kendra's plus one.#And omg Kendra should have come back#there weren't enough hijinks. I know it was Gideon's episode but... still#what I liked about S1 was it was a mess they weren't a team (they also weren't hostages) they were nobodies - people Rip thought he could#use to get his vengeance - and they spent more time bickering than helping anyone... actually that's not fair it was sort of 50/50#It was weirdly nice to see Stein even tho I remember really hating him at first#I think the real reason I had to gif this was the food stealing and the NOPE spin when Ray tries to stop Len leaving#And now I'm going to need to read some fic.

Imagine if they'd been losing Macy since 3.10.#I think Madeleine and Rupert did the best they could with the material and they have chemistry so it still sort of works.#But Macy and Harry's relationship was not well written. And that's a little bit of a crime.#I would have preferred if both Harry and Macy were in danger and only one could be saved and Macy picks him and gets her way because she jus#t fights that little bit harder and it’s a f**king tragedy and Harry’s broken by it and angry because he became human for her#and she just left him behind#Or Macy gets cursed by something and starts turning to stone or falling into a thousand year sleep and she gets a last 24hrs to say goodbye#to her sisters and Harry and Harry sacrifices his mortality because he can’t live with never seeing her again and so it’s not a goodbye#for good. Just for now. And so Macy’s safe and locked away in the basement of the house somewhere until she awakes/can be cured.#(And it's a little bit vampire diaries but still.... BETTER)#And UM wasn’t Macy running a million dollar tech company or something… aren’t they going to notice when she stops showing up for work?#And Future!Mel should have wanted to see Macy.#And Harry should have seen the dream wedding.#I'm pretending this was the series finale and it had a different ending... and plot.

The show’s called Prodigal Son.#I thought the concept was this guy is a psychopath who thinks he can change things by making Malcolm trust and like him again.#And to that end any set back or additional ‘betrayal’ (which PAH btw – betrayal are you kidding me???) would just be seen as temporary by#Martin. Something he can overcome eventually. Like a delusion. Malcolm hallucinates his dad and sees him everywhere and in everything and#Martin is similarly struck in that he deconstructs puzzles to draw Malcolm closer. He NEEDS Malcolm. He doesn’t need to be free. He doesn’t#need the world to like him. He doesn’t need money or fame. He just wants to be Malcolm’s dad.#So then to turn on Malcolm who wasn’t close to overtaking him. Who had let him get away with a lot up to this point. Just seemed… cheap.#Like what does he believe in if not redemption through his son? Are we saying he would prefer to corrupt Malcolm and force him to believe#he’s got killer instincts too? And Malcolm through a lot of these storylines is victimised. Which also bothers me.
