I have always cried every time someone told me they restarted their game because of this glitch.
NO. STOP. READ NOW!
When you have this glitch/bug there is no need for you to quit the game or end it through the task manager. All you have to do is
1. PRESS F5 on your keyboard - This will give you a menu.
2. Select with your keyboard arrow or Click Edit Town or Edit in Town whatever it’s called.
3. The UI bar will be back to normal!
4. Then you can choose to return to game or if you’re building/furnishing a house,click on the house again and edit :)
5. You won’t lose any progress.
You are welcome. If i find any of you quitting your game when this happens,I’m going to kick your ass because I am the one who ends up crying afterwards.

This house is as done as it’s going to get. Finished floor plans are behind the cut. I’ll post some interiors separately.
If I had it to do again, I would extend the hipped roof over the front porch all the way to the back of the house so that the back porch would have an overhang because I don’t like the intersection of the columns and the porch ceiling…but I decided that after I’d already put in the stairs and the windows and other stuff that I’d have to remove and then redo in order to edit the roof and….Yeah, I decided not to bother. Lazy!

Hotel Adriano (for TS3)
(from Porco Rosso, by Studio Ghibli)
I’ve always been a big fan of Studio Ghibli and I wanted to create something from one of the movies. I remembered there was this beautiful hotel on the water in the movie Porco Rosso, so I decided to create it in the sims.

Hotel Adriano works as an Island Paradise resort, and it features a hall with a front desk and a bar, a dining room with buffet tables, outdoor terraces and gardens, three luxury suites, two resort rabbit holes, a kitchen, a gym, a spa and a wedding room.
(in the pictures I placed Hotel Adriano in Plavi Raj, which is based on the Adriatic coast, just like Hotel Adriano in the movie!)
> LOT INFO: 64x64 lot, §486,186
> PLACEMENT: Just place an 64x64 lot on water and place Hotel Adriano there. But that note that when you place it, for some reason, the front desk appears here (see picture below). Just relocate it to the hall, where it should be (you can use moveobjects on).

There was request made a while back for my airplanes. So, I decided to get on it but I got side-tracked by other projects. Anyway, the Sims 3 world has not had a prop upgrade or new stuff in sometime. Therefore it is time for me to start sharing some of my stuff. Take note, that the items being share have not been illuminated hence no lights at night but later on who knows. Please note items are scaled to your Sims hence really big.
The Airport Export package includes the following items a Cargo Plane, 3 747 like planes, small plane, a private jet, A380 Airbus and airport. Please note that airport the airbus and cargo plane will required a very large flat Area. A world that could work would be Tokyo Town - Beta - Noir and Dark Sims. And all items would be found under the Rocks and the Trees section in your game.

Third set is out!
This is some sort of mix, what was already in previous sets. Some greenish lands, some snowy mountains, also the one with vivid shadows, and one coastal type of thing. More pics in pdf tutorial in download folder, at pages 14-19. You should be able to read it in your browser, without download.
There’s also table with coordinates at page 4, which you have to type in Create a World Tool, to place distant terrains in possibly best spot.

As in previous sets, in this you can find each of above meshes in two sizes - 4x4 worlds (medium size), and 6x6 worlds (custom size, can be found here). If you don’t like the shape of particular mesh, try different size. I shape them separately from certain point, because 4x4 and 6x6 meshes have different proportions and sizes to scale. So they different between themselves quite a bit. All are bellow 10k verts, except for Scatter Sands, which is around 15k. I needed more verts for such a complicated shoreline.
