This is the Annual Reminder for my sexuality/gender-alignment spectrum folks:
1) If you want to come out? Awesome! I鈥檓 proud of you. You鈥檙e super brave for doing so.
2) You don鈥檛 want to come out? Awesome! I鈥檓 proud of you too.
Much like with disclosing survivor status, whether or not you reveal your sexuality/gender-alignment is 100% up to you.聽
Don鈥檛 feel like you have to come out or that anyone is owed your truth.聽
This is also your Annual Reminder to make your survivor spaces safe for those of various sexualities/gender alignments and make your spectrum spaces safe for survivors.
Domestic violence happens in same gender relationships just as easily as it does in non-same gender ones, on top of corrective assaults happening. We need to make sure that we鈥檙e protecting those who have been hurt- and not refusing to recognize abusers in our own ranks.
Stay safe and take care of one another!

I literally do not care about the consequences a rapist must face for their actions.
I literally do not care about the fact that their reputation will be ruined.
I literally do not care about the difficulty they will have finding a job or a place to stay or friends.
I literally do no give a shit about rapists.
I give a shit about the ignorant people who assume the victim is lying rather than care more about a potential rapist than the potential victim.
People like that are the reason this world is in such a shitty condition. People like that are not only defending rapists when they do that; they may as well have been a part of the crime.
