Player 2 (Kenma x Reader)
Tumblr media
You really enjoyed Kenma’s streams. You usually watched them on your laptop upstairs while Kenma filmed in your shared game room/office. Since Kenma had a specific streaming schedule, it typically knew when to leave him be, but every now and then, Kenma did surprise streams, and he often forgot to warn you of them. That’s how you ended up popping up occasionally in one of his streams.
Sometimes, you stayed for a few minutes if Kenma asked, but you usually tried not to interrupt him. That’s why you were so surprised when Kenma told you that his fans wanted you to join one of his streams.
You played games with Kenma all the time, but you’d never played on stream with him. You were surprised how much time and prep went into it. It made you admire him even more to see the effort he put into the content he made.
Once the stream started, Kenma smiled softly. “Hey everyone, welcome to today’s stream. Today, I have a guest.”
You rolled into frame, waving lightly at the camera.
“This is my wife/husband, Y/n. A lot of you have been requesting that we play something together, and after some thought we decided to play Dead By Daylight.”
You glanced at the chat, giggling at the messages. “Everyone seems really excited.”
Kenma leaned over your shoulder, humming quietly. “They want to know if you’ve ever played this game before.”
“A little. I played while we were testing it for the stream, but other than that, I haven’t.” You saw several comments about how excited they were for your reaction.
Oh, if only they’d known.
~20 Minutes Later~
“Generator…Generator..”
“Is calling it gonna help you find it?” Kenma teased, ignoring the glare you shot his way.
“Maybe! You never know!”
You turned a corner and saw the generator up ahead. “Hell yeah, guess who just found the last generator!”
You ran towards the machine and got to work. You hissed when you missed the skill check, and the generator exploded, a shower of sparks lighting up the area around you.
“Shit shit okay, this is okay. I can work with this.”
You heard a noise in the distance.
“Kenma.”
...
“Kenma, I hear you coming.”
......
“Kenma, if you’re behind me, I swear...”
.........
You hesitantly turned your character around.
“AHHH I FUCKING KNEW IT! KEN, YOU BITCH, OH MY GOD!” You yelped, accidentally smashing several buttons as you tried to run away.
“Come on, Y/n. I just want to give you a little hug.”
“WITH A KNIFE?! No, no, no, fuck you. Not happening.”
Kenma snorted as he watched your character. “Stop running into things, and you might get away.”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about! THiS iS oBviOuslY riGhT wHeRe i wAnT tO bE!”
You jumped when your character was struck down, bashing the keys as you struggled to get away, but Kenma had already caught you.
Before you knew it, you were staring at the game over screen between the gap in your fingers as you whined, “How are you so good at that? I was so quiet!”
“Yeah, blowing up two of the three generators was so quiet.” Kenma retorted sarcastically.
You slapped his arm, your lips curving upwards. “I had a lot of fun though!”
Kenma smiled softly at your enthusiasm. His audience also enjoyed the dynamic between you two and asked if you could do another stream together sometime.
Kenma found himself hoping you would agree as well. Getting to play with you and seeing his fans’ excited responses to you warmed his heart and reminded him why he loved streaming so much in the first place.
Once everything had been shut off and put away, Kenma took your hand. “That was fun.”
You grinned and kissed his cheek. “I’m glad you had fun, love. We should have a rematch next time.”
Kenma smiled. “I’d like that.”

Grocery Shopping With Bokuto, Atsumu, and Hinata
Bokuto:
Loves joining you at the grocery store.
Throws random stuff in the cart just because it looks appealing and pouts when you end up putting most of it back.
Gets incredibly confused when you start mentioning specific brands of different items.
Despite that, he’s been with you so many times that it’s almost muscle memory for where to go and what to get.
Sneaks sweets into the cart when he thinks you aren’t looking, and you pretend not to notice unless he starts adding too many.
Calls your name very loudly, whether he’s right beside you or aisles away, when he finds something he likes.
You ignore the confused stares of the other shoppers as you call back. “Bo, stop yelling in the store! I’m on the bread aisle!”
A few seconds later, he rounds the corner and runs up to you, excitedly telling you about what he found. You can’t help but smile at the way his face lights up when you add it to the cart.
Atsumu:
Absolute nuisance when it comes to getting him to go with you. He complains the entire way there and only stops when you promise him cuddles once you get back home.
Never fails to add something at the last second so you can’t refuse it. You stopped caring after the 6th time he did it, but that didn’t stop you from slapping his arm and calling him a cheapskate for not paying for his own stuff.
Never fails to respond with, “We live together. Your money became our money when you walked in the door.”
“Doesn’t that mean your money is our money too?”
It took him all of 3 seconds to realize he’d walked right into your trap.
“…I guess.”
You grinned triumphantly. “Then, you’re paying next time.”
All he can do is sigh. He’s not really mad. He would give you everything he had if you asked, but he won’t tell you that. He may be whipped for you, but you didn’t need to know it.
Hinata:
Has a love/hate relationship with grocery shopping.
He loves going with you and helping plan meals for the week, but he hates having to ask you or an employee to get things from the higher shelves.
Once tried to jump to reach something and ended up knocking down half the other items in the process.
Absolute trash at money management because his math skills are nonexistent.
Won the argument for carrying the money under the condition that he used the calculator on his phone to add everything up.
Has trouble distinguishing which fruits are ripe and which ones aren’t, so he always asks for your help.
Secretly memorized your food preferences in case he has to shop without you.
“Can you hand me those pasta noodles, please?”
The employee nodded, picking up the nearest box. “These?”
“No, the ones next to them. Y/n prefers those.”
He feels the same when he sees your surprised smile as he does when he wins a game.
The difference is that Hinata may love volleyball with all his heart, but he loves you with everything he is.

Alright everyone, the poll ended up tied between Suna and Atsumu, so I decided to do both so no one would be disappointed! Enjoy!
Suna
Okay, to be fair, Suna only came to this party because it was a prime opportunity for blackmail material. He didn’t expect it to turn into a beer pong war with his crush.
You were both sober which is probably why you both were being so competitive. Both of you were lazy drunks. You always ended up in some corner, leaning on each other while you slept. Sometimes, they would catch the two of you chatting sleepily, filters so gone that you’d say anything that came to mind.
Suna wasn’t sure what the hell came over him, but he found himself blurting out, “If I make this, you have to kiss me.”
He was so startled by his own words that he missed all the cups entirely. If it weren’t for your reflexes, the ball would’ve hit you instead.
You paused momentarily, rolling the ball in your palm.
Suna opened his mouth to apologize, but you took everyone by surprise when you dropped the ball into the nearest cup.
You lifted your head, and Suna saw your lips twitching as you fought a smile.
“Well, looks like I owe you a kiss.”
Suna snapped out of his reverie and walked around the table, trying to look more confident than he felt.
He put a finger under your chin and tilted your head up, but he hesitated when your eyes met his.
You, however, didn’t hesitate to pick up where he left off. You cupped his cheeks and pressed your lips to his.
After the initial shock, Suna melted into you, tugging you closer. He would ask you out afterwards, but for now, he was perfectly content to stay here, holding you and sharing lazy kisses.
He didn’t regret coming to this party at all.
Atsumu
Atsumu had a crush on you.
Whenever someone brought it up, he insisted that it was just a silly crush, but anyone that looked at the two of you could tell that he was head over heels for you. You had him wrapped around your finger, and you didn’t even know it.
It was Oikawa who convinced him to play a couple rounds of beer pong, and at some point, Bokuto dragged you over to play too.
It had been Oikawa, Kuroo, and Atsumu against you, Bokuto, and Hinata.
Kuroo and Bokuto were dragged off by their boyfriends halfway through the game.
Hinata followed when Kageyama asked him to dance.
Oikawa decided to sit out because he claimed it felt unfair to have a 2 vs 1, but the sly smile he gave Atsumu told a different story.
Now, Atsumu was a dumbass on a regular day, but he became an all out disaster when he got drunk. That was the only explanation he had for the words that came out of his mouth next.
“If I make this, you have to kiss me!”
You blinked at him, surprise flashing across your face before you nodded. “Okay.”
Atsumu hid his embarrassment by throwing the ball. He just barely missed the last row of cups, and the ball bounced into your hand.
He didn’t want to admit that he was actually a little disappointed. However, his eyes widened when you reached out and dropped the ball into one of the cups.
Your eyes found his across the table, and you smirked, a mischievous gleam in your eyes. “How lucky. Looks like you made it.”
Atsumu could feel his face turning red as you rounded the table leisurely. When you reached him, you smiled, your eyes softening. “Are you sure about this?”
Atsumu swallowed, his mouth suddenly dry, and nodded. The press of your palm on the nape of his neck made him shiver.
Your lips brushed his softly, your other hand coming to rest on his cheek. Atsumu leaned closer, kissing you tentatively.
You smiled against his lips, pressing even closer. His hands moved to your waist, and the hand on his cheek dropped to his arm while the hand on his neck combed through his hair.
Atsumu swore this was the best moment of his life. He was kissing the love of his life, and you were kissing him back.
When you broke away, you smiled at his flushed cheeks and heavy breathing. “I love you.”
Atsumu thought his heart might have stopped.
You love him.
You love him.
You love him.
“I love you too.” He admitted breathlessly.
You grinned brightly, your eyes shining with joy. You tilted your head forward and kissed him again.
This was the best day of his life.
This is based on a TikTok I saw, but I can’t find it now. If any of you know what I’m talking about, feel free to link it!

Immortal Heart (Atsumu x Reader) Part 4
A few days later, you decided it was time for you to start training Atsumu. Once night fell, you drove to a nearby forest. You found a nice, open clearing and turned to face him.
“Alright, the first thing we’re gonna do is practice running.”
“I have to learn how to run?”
“Mhm. You’re a lot faster now.”
“But I walk just fine, so shouldn’t running be the same?”
“Walking is different. When you walk, you’re trying to go slow. Your brain knows what your body needs to be doing and compensates for the changes to your body. However, when you run, your instinct isn’t to be slow. It’s to be as fast as possible. Unlike when you walk, the speed your brain and muscles are used to is much lower than your current speed.” You explained.
“Okay? That, uh, I guess that makes sense?”
You shook your head and crossed the clearing. “Here, I’ll show you.” You turned back to him and smiled. “Run to me.”
Atsumu dug his toes into the ground and took off. In a single blink, he had not only crossed the clearing, but also slammed headfirst into you. You dropped your hips and braced your feet against the ground.
It was like hitting a wall.
You didn’t move an inch while Atsumu was thrown to such a sudden stop that he stumbled and fell backwards from the impact.
“Now, do you get it? Your fastest speed has essentially tripled, so when you run, your speed quickly gets out of control. Couple that with the fact that you don’t know how to stop at such a fast pace, and it’s a recipe for disaster.” You held out your hand and pulled him up with ease.
Atsumu got to his feet, rubbing his head where he had hit it. “So, what now?”
“Give me your hand.”
Atsumu frowned but did as you asked. Your fingers closed around his own, your palm fitting snugly against his. It felt strange. The last person to hold his hand was his brother back when they were kids.
You tugged gently at his hand. “Follow me.”
Atsumu nodded, confused as to where you were going with this. He fell into step beside you.
After a minute, you glanced at him. “Feel the way I move, and try to follow it. Take your time.”
Atsumu looked over at you, quietly observing you. Your movements were relaxed, but they held a certain air of precision. It wasn’t calculated nor meticulous. It was practiced until it became as normal as breathing. Your steps were light, almost soundless on the forest floor.
Atsumu watched your feet, matching his steps to your own. You sped up slightly, watching his eyebrows furrow as he once again fell into step beside you. You repeated that cycle until the two of you had reached a light jog.
“You play volleyball, right?”
Atsumu stumbled slightly, caught off guard by the sudden question. Once he righted himself, he responded. “Yeah. Have since I was a kid.”
You hummed softly. “You’ll have to fill out a registration with your team now that you’re a vampire.”
“Registration?”
“It’s just a form detailing when you were turned and the new limits of your physique, like your fastest speed, highest jump, strongest hit, stuff like that. Then, they’ll give you a specialized bracelet that will dull your powers to a human level again. As long as you remember to wear it when you play, you’ll be allowed to play with your team just like you did before you were turned.” You explained.
Atsumu let out a sigh of relief. For a moment, he was scared you would tell him he had to quit volleyball. “Where do I get that form?”
“You’ll have to speak to your coach, and he’ll request one for you. The bracelet shouldn’t take more than a week to be delivered once the request is processed. On the form, there’ll also be a section where you can fill out a specific design you want for it.”
“It can be anything I want?”
“Mm, for the most part, yes. The only thing they can’t account for is whatever power you end up with.”
“Power?”
You slowed your pace until the two of you were once again walking side by side. “Every vampire has a power unique to them, but only a select few have ever been able to tap into that level of power.”
“Do you have one? A special power, I mean.”
“Mhm.”
“Really?!” He gasped, excitement written across his face. “What is it?!”
“Space manipulation.”
“Space? Like stars and shit?”
“Not quite.” You snorted. “Space just refers to any plane of existence. For example,” You pointed to a nearby tree, “let’s say I wanted that tree to be shorter. All I have to do is imagine it.”
Atsumu watched in shock as the tree shook and began to shrink.
“And it happens.”
Atsumu glanced between the tree and you incredulously. “And you can do that with everything?!”
“I can’t conjure up things that aren’t already there, but I can morph and change anything that already exists around me.”
Your phone dinged from the pocket of your jacket. You grabbed it and unlocked the screen. It was a message from, Yukitara.
I have the info you asked for. The guy’s name was Fujisaki Shin. The list attached includes everyone he’s been in contact with in the last six months. The ones I highlighted are the ones that he’s spoken to a substantial amount.
You tapped on the attachment, and a document full of names and addresses popped up. You scanned through the list, your eyes stopping on one name that had been highlighted and underlined in red ink.
Okarah Singoku
You stared silently at the name, but no matter how many times you read it, it stayed the same.
“Sorry to cut our training short, but it looks like I have a detour to make.”
“Where are we going?”
“You’re going home. I’m going somewhere.”
“What? Why can’t I go?”
“Because it isn’t a place for a fledgling.”
“But-”
You shot him a sharp look that had any protests dying on the tip of his tongue.
He sighed deeply, knowing arguing would get him nowhere. “Can you at least tell me where you’re going?”
You were silent for a long moment, your mind far away from where you were standing.
“To visit an old friend.”

Baking With Kageyama, Yamaguchi, Tsukishima, Bokuto, and Atsumu:
Kageyama
Needs very detailed instructions because this guy has absolutely no common sense. If you don’t tell him to do it, he just won’t.
You once asked him to put the eggs in the batter for the cake, and he put the WHOLE eggs in the bowl, which resulted in you having to explain that you meant to crack them first.
Isn’t allowed to use the oven anymore after he left it on and started a fire.
You just ask him to hand you the things you need, and you do the rest.
Yamaguchi
A nervous mess.
Needs reassurance that he’s doing things right.
You don’t let him crack eggs anymore because he gets so worried about getting the shell in it that he ends up missing the bowl completely.
Prone to dropping things, so be careful.
Though he’s a bit clumsy, he really loves baking with you, and he’s not bad at it either.
He has his mess ups, but he always comes out with something good to eat.
Tsukishima
Saltiest man alive yet he loves sweets.
Will ask you to make strawberry shortcake when he’s having a bad day.
He’ll sit at the kitchen table and pretend to scroll on his phone while he watches you bake.
If you ask him to get something for you, he always complains.
“Get it yourself.” He’ll grumble, but the second you turn around, you find it setting on the counter beside you.
Can cook really well, but he sucks at baking, and he’s very salty about it.
Bokuto
Loves baking almost as much as he loves volleyball.
You’ll wake up in the middle of the night when you feel him leave the bed. If he’s not back in ten minutes, you get up to check on him.
You’ll find him in the kitchen, rummaging through the cabinets while he mumbles about a new recipe.
Prone to dropping things.
Sometimes forgets that the oven is on and ends up setting off the fire alarm.
Afterwards, he usually ends up sitting at the table and pouting because he got banned from doing anything else for the day.
Atsumu
A wreck in the kitchen.
Poor guy can’t cook to save his life, and this goes for baking too.
He tries so hard to help, but it never turns out right.
He once tried to set up a double boiler to melt some chocolate for you, except he set the burner too high and the water boiled over onto the stove.
You can’t even let him take things out of the oven anymore because he forgets to put on oven mitts and ends up burning himself.
Gets too enthusiastic when he stirs things and ends up spilling batter everywhere.
He typically just ends up with his arms wrapped around your waist and his chin on your shoulder while he talks to you about whatever he finds interesting.

Fever (Akaashi x Sick!Reader)
Akaashi Keiji is a worrier. He’s not so proud that he can’t admit that. This worry extends to his family, his friends, and, Y/n, the love of his life (who is currently unaware that they are the love of his life, but that’s not the point).
The point is that Akaashi hasn’t been able to reach you in the past two days, other than a single message saying, “Sorry Kaashi, I can’t meet up today. I’ve been a bit under the weather.”
That was why he was currently on his way to your home with some medicine and homemade soup.
When he got there, he knocked on the door. When there was no answer, he knocked again, louder this time, but still, nothing.
Akaashi bit his lip as he mulled over what to do. He had a really bad feeling, so he lifted the fake rock from the flowerpot beside the door and slid the bottom open, revealing your spare key. He put the rock back and unlocked the door, locking it behind him once he was inside.
The house was eerily silent. Even at night, you always had some kind of sound, no matter how quiet it may be, but right now, not a single sound could be heard.
A chill ran down Akaashi’s spine. This wasn’t right. Something was wrong.
“Y/n!” He called your name loudly.
He heard a soft thump overhead. He rushed up the stairs, deciding to check your room first. He threw open the door, and his heart sank. The only light in the room was coming from the window, and in the dimly lit room, he could see you laying on your bed. The covers pooled on the floor where you had kicked them away in your sleep. A sheen of sweat glistened on your flushed skin. Despite that, you were shivering violently.
Akaashi rushed to your side, resting a gentle hand on your face as he called your name. You were burning up.
Your fever was so high that Akaashi was honestly terrified of what would happen if it didn’t go down soon.
A cold bath! That could work!
Akaashi raced into the bathroom and turned on the water. He didn’t want it to be too cold, so he held his hand under the faucet until the temperature was right. He plugged the drain and ran back to your room.
When he got back to your room, you had rolled onto your back. Your eyes were open, but they were glazed over and unfocused.
“Y/n!” He shook you gently when your eyes started to close again. “You need to stay awake. Can you do that for me?”
“Kaa…shi..?”
“That’s right. I’m right here.” He soothed.
“Sc…ared..” You croaked weakly, trembling hands finding his even in the dark. He gripped them gently.
“I know. Don’t be scared. I’ll take care of you.” He reassured you. “I’m going to pick you up, okay?”
You nodded sluggishly. Akaashi slid his arms under you and lifted you up, carrying you into the bathroom. He lowered you into the bathtub, whispering apologies when you hissed at the sudden cold.
You sank into the water, a sigh of relief leaving your lips. Akaashi brushed his fingers through your hair.
Your nose scrunched up cutely. “Don’t do that. My hair probably feels disgusting.”
Akaashi just chuckled. “That doesn’t matter to me.”
You shot him an unconvinced frown that only made him smile.
“Just relax, okay?”
You sighed and gave in, leaning your cheek against the cold, tile wall. Once you had cooled down sufficiently, you felt a little better, and after washing your hair, you at least, felt like a human rather than a swamp monster from Scooby Doo.
Akaashi changed your bedsheets and stuck them and your blanket in the washer. He had just finished heating up the soup when you trudged down the stairs. Your movements were still sluggish and weak, but you looked much better than when he arrived.
“Have a seat on the couch, and I’ll bring your soup.”
For once, you didn’t argue, curling up on the sofa without a word. After making you take some medicine, Akaashi brought you a bowl of soup and some tea to soothe your throat. He put on one of your favorite movies and sat down beside you. He didn’t say a word as he wrapped you in the fluffiest blanket he could find.
Later, you were leaning against his shoulder, mumbling sleepily about how he could get sick from being around you. Akaashi only smiled and pulled you closer. You huffed but ended up snuggling into the warmth of his body anyway.
“Mm, Keiji?”
Akaashi stiffened. You rarely ever called him Keiji. “Y-Yeah?”
“…” You were silent for a long moment, so long, in fact, that Akaashi thought you might’ve fallen asleep.
Even so, he didn’t miss it when you murmured, “‘m in love with you.”
He blinked several times before the words finally processed. You turned your head, pressing a tender kiss to his jaw before closing your eyes. “‘s always been you.”
He kissed the top of your head fondly, your hair tickling his flushed cheeks. “I love you too, Y/n.”

Immortal Heart (Atsumu x Reader) Part 3
Atsumu woke up to wonderful smell. His stomach rumbled, forcing him out of bed. He got dressed, brushed his hair and teeth, and stumbled sleepily into the kitchen.
“Good morning.” You greeted, shooting him a small smile.
“Mornin’” He yawned. “What are you making?”
“Crepes.”
“You’re making what?”
“Crepes.” You repeated. “They’re kind of like really flat pancakes filled with cream.”
Atsumu peaked over your shoulder, watching you spread a deep red cream across the surface of each crepe before folding them and adding some fruit into each one.
“That doesn’t look like any cream I’ve every seen.” He responded skeptically.
“That’s because there’s blood in it.”
Atsumu almost choked. “There’s blood in that?!”
You turned your head to look at him, a playful smile on your face. “What else would we be eating?”
Atsumu blushed. “I just- I was surprised, okay?”
Your smile softened and you startled him by reaching out to ruffle his hair. He swatted your hand away, whining about how long it took him to fix his hair.
“Don’t worry. I usually cook human meals with blood incorporated into them, so it should be easier to eat.”
“Why?”
You shrugged. “I loved cooking and baking when I was human. The thought of never doing it again made me sad, so I just changed it up a bit. Now, I can cook for humans and vampires.”
Atsumu glanced apprehensively at the food. Blood. There was blood in this.
You watched him carefully from the corner of your eye as you moved around the kitchen. You knew all too well what was going through his head. The first meal was always the hardest for a turned human. Born vampires never had to experience the internal conflict that you, and now, Atsumu had.
You gathered two glasses and filled them with iced tea. You’d found the taste was soothing for you. You hoped it would be the same for him.
He picked up one of the crepes with shaky fingers and glanced at you. You gave a him a soft smile, hoping it reassured him.
He reluctantly bit into it. He chewed for several seconds before his eyes widened. “It tastes normal?”
You hid your triumphant grin behind your hand. You had worked hard to make it taste as normal as possible for him.
The two of you ate breakfast together in peaceful silence. Atsumu insisted on washing the dishes since you had cooked, and you begrudgingly gave in.
He had just dried his hands when his phone rang. He picked it up, grinning when he saw who it was.
“Kawa!”
“Tsumu, we heard what happened! Are you okay? How do you feel? You’re not in any danger, right?!”
You smiled softly. This guy reminded you of Yukitara.
“I’m fine, Kawa. Seriously. Just a bit shaken up, but Y/n’s helping.”
“Oh right! Osamu told us about her. Is she nice? We don’t need to beat her up, right?”
You covered your mouth in an attempt to muffle your laughter. Atsumu gaped at you. He had never heard you laugh. He felt heat creeping up his neck. Your laugh was really pretty.
“Tsumu?”
“What? Wait, I mean, no! No one is beating anyone up!”
Oikawa sighed dramatically. “Bummer.”
Atsumu heard a smack, and Oikawa groaned.
“Suga, you didn’t have to hit me!”
“Stop threatening people and ask him the question!”
“Right, right fine.” Oikawa grumbled. “Anyway, we wanted to know if you’d like to come over. We want to see you and meet your new friend.”
“Um.” Atsumu glanced over at you, raising an eyebrow questioningly. You smiled and nodded. “Yeah, just tell us where to meet.”
That’s how you ended up driving to a café downtown with Atsumu. Once you had parked, you turned to face him.
“Alright, there’s one thing we need to talk about before we go in.”
Atsumu tilted his head curiously. “What is it?”
“Now that you’re a vampire, your sense of smell is much stronger. Every human has a scent. For me, that’s not a problem because I’ve gotten used to it, but for a fledgling the scent of a human is like drugs. Not many people should be in there since it’s so late in the morning and most people are at work, but it might still be a bit much. If it gets overwhelming, tell me.” You told him sternly. “Humans may be much more accepting of our kind these days, but they won’t take kindly to you if you lose control and accidentally hurt someone.”
Seeing his worried expression, you patted his shoulder comfortingly. “Relax. I’ve trained plenty of fledglings before. As long as I’m here, you’ll be okay.”
Atsumu nodded. “Okay.”
The second he stepped into the café he understood what you meant. The smell of humans was mouthwatering. He swallowed thickly, trying to focus on something else.
“Tsumu!”
His eyes shifted to where Oikawa was waving excitedly. Suga slapped his arm down while Akaashi sighed and asked him to lower his voice. Kenma glanced up from his PSP, offering a soft ‘Hello’ before going back to his game.
You followed Atsumu over to them, quietly observing him. You had noticed the way he stiffened when he walked in the door, and you were immensely thankful that his friends and the young girl working the counter were the only ones inside.
They each introduced themselves and scooted down to make room for the two of you. Atsumu sat down beside Oikawa while you sat across for him, next to Akaashi.
Atsumu was still tense. You saw his friends glancing at him, and you realized they wanted to talk to him alone. You hummed softly to yourself and stood back up.
“Would anyone else like something to drink?”
The boys shook their heads, and you walked up to the counter.
“One spiced cider, please.”
The girl smiled at you. “That’ll be 500¥.”
You handed her the money and waited for the drink.
~
Atsumu’s friends waited until you were at the counter before they turned to him.
“How are you doing?” Oikawa asked seriously.
“Guys, I’m really fine. It’s just a big change, and I’m still getting used to it.”
“What about Y/n?” Suga asked warily.
Atsumu smiled reassuringly. “Y/n is helping a lot. They always take the time to explain things to me and warn me about the changes to my body. They’re really trying their best to teach me how to be a good vampire.”
Akaashi smiled softly, letting out a sigh of relief. “That’s good. I’m glad you have someone that understands what you’re going through looking out for you.”
Kenma nodded quietly, offering Atsumu a small smile. His eyes flitted to you before returning to him.
“Y/n watches you.” He observed. “They watch how you’re handling things. They’re there for you.”
Atsumu turned his head to look at you. He swore you had a sixth sense because, seconds later, you glanced over your shoulder, your eyes meeting his.
Atsumu whipped back around, his ears turning red.
“Oh my god-”
Atsumu cut Oikawa off with a glare. Oikawa raised his hands in surrender and changed the subject. He slowly started to relax and catch up with his friends.
After a few minutes, you returned to the table and placed a mug in front of him.
He glanced up at you confusedly. “What is this?”
“Spiced cider. You don’t have to drink it if you don’t want to. I got it mainly for the smell.”
“The smell?” Suga repeated.
You nodded as you sat back down. “Like I told Atsumu, the scent of humans can be overwhelming for a newly turned vampire. Spiced cider has a strong smell. If you hold it close to your nose, it overpowers any other scents.” You explained.
Atsumu looked back and forth between you and the cup several times before he pulled it closer, lowering his head to sniff it.
You were right. The spicy scent of cinnamon and apples canceled out everything else. It was comforting, like being wrapped in a warm blanket on a cold night.
Atsumu’s eyes fluttered open, finding yours across the table. He lowered his face to hide his smile. Atsumu wasn’t sure he had ever felt this cared for before.

what kind of pickup lines would kuroo use on his s/o?
Kuroo is a major science nerd, so he’d probably use those awful chemistry jokes, and his s/o is just so done with it but puts up with it anyway because they love him.
~
“Hey Y/n?”
“Hey Kuroo. What’s up?”
“Are you made of uranium and iodine? Because all I can see is U and I together.”
“Why are you using pickup lines?”
“Hey, want to swap oxidation numbers?”
“You’ve had my number since we met.”
“Is it cool if I stick to you like gluecose?”
“Kuroo, we’re already dating.”
“I must be magnesium and you must be oxygen because I light up when I’m with you.”
“How long are you going to do this?”
“We must be galvanic cells because there’s definitely electricity between us.”
“Did the static in your hair shock your brain or something?”
“You wound me, Y/n.”
“I’m sorry. Were you expecting a different-“
“Don’t you dare!”
“Reaction?”
“I don’t know whether I’m proud or disappointed.”

Color Coded (Atsumu x OCD! Reader)
Tumblr media
Everyone has that moment where they realize they’re in love.
For Atsumu, that moment came on a typical Saturday afternoon.
To be honest, it wasn’t anything special. He was just sitting on your bed, watching you meticulously sort the candies he bought you into color categories.
Atsumu had known about your OCD for years, so the sight didn’t surprise him anymore. He had grown accustomed to your specific ways of doing things over the years.
The door always has to be locked once everyone is inside.
All keys go on the rack beside the door.
Candy is sorted by color.
Towels always go in the cabinet before rags.
Dishes have to be cleaned with a specific brand of soap.
Never put pans in the same cabinet as pots.
He even knew the way you organized your fridge, which was why Atsumu was the only other person allowed to use your kitchen.
He knew how much it meant to you that he was so attentive. He remembered the day you had first brought it up.
~
Atsumu was helping you unpack your groceries and put them away.
“Huh? How do you know where everything goes?”
Atsumu glanced away from the fridge to smile at you sheepishly. “I’ve been watching you.” He admitted, rubbing the back of his neck nervously. “I wanted to learn how you do things so I can make things a little easier for you.”
“Oh…” Your eyes glazed over with tears.
“W-Wait, don’t cry!”
Another tear slipped down your cheek, and you wiped it away, laughter bubbling from your throat.
“Sorry, sorry.” Your voice was thick with emotion. “It’s just- No one has ever gone out of their way for me like that. It caught me off guard.”
You wiped the last of your tears and beamed at him, eyes bright with happiness. “Thank you, Tsumu.”
~
“What’s got you smiling?”
The bed shifted as you plopped onto the bed, laying across his outstretched legs.
Atsumu just shook his head with a grin. “Just remembered something.”
“What was it?”
“That day you cried when you found out I was learning how to help you out more.” He chuckled.
You smiled reminiscently. “Ah, I remember. You really surprised me that day.”
Atsumu looked down at you. You were staring up at him with a soft expression, fondness gleaming your eyes.
He laid his arm across your stomach, the other resting under your head.
You reached out, suddenly, brushing his bangs out of his eyes. Your fingers ghosted across his temple and down to his cheek. Before you could pull away, he caught your hand, nuzzling his cheek into your palm.
Your lips curved into a sweet little smile. “I love you.”
His heart stumbled in his chest.
I love you.
It was so simple that he wondered why it took him this long to realize.
L/n Y/n.
His best friend.
His person.
Atsumu closed his eyes, a slow smile making its way across his face. He turned his head, pressing a soft kiss to your palm. He squeezed your hand gently. “I love you too.”

Random Haikyuu Dating Headcanons In No Particular Order:
Featuring: Akaashi, Kuroo, Bokuto, Oikawa, Hinata, Kageyama, Atsumu, Osamu, Suna, Daichi, Tsukishima
Dating Akaashi means practically adopting Bokuto because they’re best friends, and Bo will always be a part of Akaashi’s life.
The same goes for Kuroo and Kenma.
Kageyama will call you after a particularly bad fight with Hinata because the poor boy is absolutely horrible at apologizing.
If you date either of the Miya Twins, congratulations, you’re now a referee for their fights.
If you date Suna, be prepared for a constant stream of his blackmail pictures and videos. He sends them to you to make you laugh.
Oikawa will keep you up to date on all the gossip he knows. Even if you say you aren’t interested, he still goes on tangents talking about it.
Hinata will sometimes jump on top of things you’re standing near just to kiss you.
Bokuto loves to carry you. If you look tired, he’ll let you climb on his back. He loves listening to your sleepy chatter as you try to stay awake.
Daichi is responsible and protective. He loves you and will do whatever he can to make you feel safe and loved.
Tsukishima is a textbook tsundere. This bitch loves making fun of people. He’ll pick on you in public and act disinterested, but once you’re alone, he turns into the softest marshmallow of a man as he pulls you into a hug and reminds you that he loves you.
