Me when I'm looking at my old fanfics on FF.net while backing them up

How do I check to see when I've uploaded a chapter to FF.net? The solution posted by Sariniste doesn't work for me because the story stats only goes back to July 2008 meanwhile the fanfic in question is a 3 chapter story that was published between 2003 and 2004 so I'm unable to get the date for the 2nd chapter. The original and revision files for that have been long gone so I'm unable to get a date from looking at those.

I picked a fine time to save my fanfics to my personal wiki. 🙃 Because AO3 is down, I can't access the tags and stuff on one of my fanfics. I'll have to come back later when it's up again. Luckily I've got a copy of the story itself saved on my PC so I don't need to worry about that.

On the plus side, my first fic on AO3 already had its info added to the wiki a while ago along with a copy of the story itself. I've got mostly WIPs and other bits and bobs to add.

I have no idea if/when to tag fanfics as crossovers and I don't want to disappoint anyone from going with my gut feeling about it. 😣

For context, it's another WarioWare fanfic and given the nature of the series and how it often has a set of Nintendo-themed microgames, there's a part where they're playing Splatoon with online friends and it's more like I'm watching the gameplay on the TV, listening to the voice chat and relying the information from there, not having them physically enter the game like some sort of AU or isekai. That part takes up a significant chunk of "does this qualify as a crossover?" A much smaller part is the online friends who are from other Nintendo series but it's treated more like they're from other countries than games and it doesn't go "This is so-and-so from Game A." I intentionally obscured their identities in a way that fans of their series would maybe go "Wait is that so-and-so?"

why does every fanfic with y/n have to be about romance. maybe i just want to be coworkers at taco bell with dio. take an accounting class with kakashi. these men are not dateable but could provide entertainment value in other facets of life

For those of you who want to lock all of your works with all the silly AI scraping of AO3 (which AO3 is recommending you lock your works, as stated in this post)

Here is a quick and easy guide of how to edit ALL of your works at once.

From your Dashboard click on “edit works” on the far right. This will bring up all of your works that you can select.

Select all the works you want to edit, then hit “Edit” at the bottom right.

Scroll to nearly the bottom of the page where you find “Visibility” and select “only show to registered users” and then update at the bottom.

That’s it, all of your works have now been locked without having to go in and edit each fic individually.

Honestly be pretentious as fuck about the stuff you create. Do a press release for your fanfic updates. Do a Q&A about your webcomic. Make fake merch designs for your OCs. Commission "official" book covers. Very few of us will ever get to a stage where something we've created Makes It Big but even if you have an audience of 5 people plus a shoelace fucking indulge yourself and pretend!! It's the only way to live!!

I wish I knew how to edit the title so that it didn't say "Login required" but I'm really happy with this.

I live with a ton of other people and I don't want them to accidentally stumble upon my private wiki so I looked up how to make it so that they'd have to login along with disabling account creation so that they won't be able to do so.
