Avalon Web of Magic was my second favorite book series as a teen and I wanted to draw something for it for the first time in like, 10 years lmao. This is my interpretation of Adriane and Stormbringer!
I wanted to be Adriane SO BAD back then, and I had a Webkinz husky named after Storm! Lmk if any of y’all read this series too, I haven’t met many people who did
I have many thoughts about Wish, but let me tell you this deleted scene absolutely broke me. It is the heart and soul of the movie and I will die on that hill. I liked the idea of Star having a bond with Sabino and playing this song with him
Also if you can’t tell, I’m a big fan of Brittney Lee’s concept designs for Star
Made an updated 2024 lineup with Melo and Lir! They’ve both changed a lot, but I think Lir by far has changed the most drastically across her existence.
And here’s some doodles of them at a couple different points of the story ~ All y’all get to know for now is that it’s been 10 years since they’ve seen each other, and Melo gave Lir that necklace all that time ago :,)
I just realized a comic I like was made by you and like how do you make Sans so pretty??????
Ayy I’m glad you found me! I’ve had phases for how I drew Sans. I know that I always gave him the eyelash shapes when I drew his eye sockets, despite him not having any. Maybe that’s it hehe
I'm sorry if you're tired of thinking about ofmd and that whole mess but goddamn... it's incredibly painful to see so many people trying to set up fundraisers to get their families out of gaza and the sudan and desperately trying to get their loved ones to safety, I've seen so many and everyday I check to see how much progress they've made, most of them still haven't hit their goal. It hurts to see people rally around a tv show and raise all this money for a billboard, and it's very frustrating to see how people have reacted to this criticism. Like bro tv shows get canceled sometimes there's more important stuff going on
Someone else said it better but to see a fundraiser for tv show renewal advertisements raise $20,000 in less than a day while it takes days/weeks/months/years/never for fundraisers for actual causes that help real people in need reach a goal of less is absolutely dystopian and shameful
Simple things you can do right now to support Gaza if you can't strike by staying home from work/school
queue posts about Palestine to regularly post throughout the week to keep them visible. Check tags like: #strike for gaza, #free gaza, #ceasefire now. I'm going to share posts from Bisan and other Palestinians on instagram.
don't spend money on nonessentials. if you didn't have time to prepare for the strike and still need to get groceries/medicine/etc, get it now to prepare for not spending the rest of the week! striking for even part of the week is better than not participating at all.
read bit.ly/StopGazaGenocide, this is a document put together by the US Campaign for Palestinian Rights (USCPR) with lots of good information and graphics and link to art you can freely use to spread awareness. There is also a link to email your representatives to urge them to stop supporting the occupation and the email is pre-generated! it took me one minute to send emails!
email your representatives that you are striking for Palestine!
keep talking about Palestine. keep reading about Palestine. keep caring about Palestine. If you make even one person pay attention, you've done good work! keep going!
Do what you can! Doing ANYTHING is better than doing nothing.
Hi! I wanted to tell you I really love your art style. You’e very talented! I’m an especially big fan of your Animaniacs art. Do you have any tips on how to draw so cartoony? I keep trying but it seems to come out looking quite plain.
That’s all! Keep up the good work. :)
Thanks so much!! I’m glad you like my Animaniacs stuff!
My first tip for learning any kind of style is to do studies. Trace over references to learn shapes and placement relative to each other. Look at how show artists and fanartists draw the animaniacs characters and note what they do that makes them toony. To name stuff off the top of my head- - Cartoony characters tend to have super strong silhouettes. Having a character’s limbs follow their overall line of action will help with this!
- Small details of toon anatomy can be good to keep in mind too! Things like limbs starting skinny at the top and getting thicker as they go down (looking mostly at the warners). Or how their mouths stretch wider than their head shapes would allow
Try to keep things loose and exaggerated, it helps things be less stiff and more lively! If anything needs more depth, lmk, I can elaborate better on more specific points if needed
