His smile reveals nothing as gloved hands extend a beautifully wrapped gift in your direction. Green eyes glint mirthfully as Barbatos watches you unwrap what he picked out for you.

"I hope it is to your liking," he says, a note of fondness in his voice as the items are revealed. "You had mentioned that you found painting relaxing, and that you might want to try it sometime, but I was unsure if you had the right materials at the House of Lamentation."

As the wrapping paper falls away, beautiful brishes of several thicknesses are revealed, as well as a large set of watercolours and paper to go with it. His smile widens as he takes in your expression.

He wonders what kind of art you'll make with his gifts. Perhaps he secretly hopes you'll paint him some time, he notes as you hug him, a gentle hand carding through your hair, his lips pressing a soft kiss against you.
