the best part of being revived is seeing a sea of familiar, friendly faces who ( probably ) have also just been recently revived. which only heightens the old kinship, really ... and matthew won't admit it, but he's kinda, somewhat, perhaps, maybe missed the literature club.

wow the hunger games are so traumatizing for mat he is struggling to cope at all times. but he can't escape so the detective is literally living through the same shit over again except even more violent this time and he misses his friends so much. and he is so tired. and he is losing sleep. and dying, probably.

dying doesn't make mat blink an eye, seeing how it's commonplace for him in ... most survival based games. still, there's a hot shame coiling in his stomach from losing to a literal child, or teen, or whatever. who is also smurf colored. his skills must need some serious sharpening to lose like that!

hello everyone! today (october 18) is the one-year anniversary of this blog, which is completely wild and it feels like both forever ago and just yesterday. so much in my life has changed since then, and i’m so grateful to have made and reconnected with so many friends in that span of time! some of you on here have been such a huge support to me during the things i’ve gone through this year, and those people definitely know what i mean when i say it’s pretty on-brand for my one-year anniversary event to be one that’s full of death and bloodshed.
that’s right, folks, it’s a hunger games sim! thank you to landon for giving me the idea and the execution for this; truly you are a visionary and i’m stoked to be hopping on the bandwagon!
