Where can I find your comics? I've been seeing pieces of them on a lot of social media but I don't know where I can read them

Easiest way to start from the beginning is in the Archive where everything is sorted into volumes.

Was it hard to start posting about Lackadaisy and did you ever find it really challenging to find an audience? I want to post about my own project but I’m intimidated to say the least.

It's always been a conflict, somewhere between desperately wanting to share it in my buzzing excitement, and also desperately wanting to hide under the sofa with all of my cringey ideas. Having spoken to other artists about their feelings about their own projects, it seems that's not an uncommon sentiment. It's just a matter of which side will eventually win out. (I don't regret releasing my cringey ideas into the wild, for the record.) --------------------- Finding an audience is a whole other challenge, especially now as everything is so compartmentalized, platform to platform. But, honestly, maybe it helps alleviate some debut anxiety if not that many people will immediately have their eyes on your work.

Generally, I think it's probably best to just work with whichever social media spaces you're most comfortable in. Don't worry too much about being everywhere all at once - it's maddening. You can branch out gradually if need be. You might also consider setting up your own basic website to act as a hub, because you never know which social media company will suddenly pull the rug out from under you. Be patient. Don't dump a bunch of energy into trying to go viral or something. Slow and steady growth is generally more meaningful and sustainable anyway. Keep putting your work out there, even if it feels sometimes like no one is looking. If you're having a ton of fun making it regardless of who's watching, chances are pretty good some people are going to start having fun reading it/looking at it too.

i i made a 70 au i don't know why but i did this is what happens when i get my wisdom teeth taken out im still loopy also be for someone losses their mind yes Rocky still has his orange tie its just i also gave his the worst paints pattern to draw and i didn't want to draw it again

also, i did see the zib drawing by tracy i love it so have a zib edit and i did change his bracelet but i made it a grateful dead bracelet

I don’t know anything about books and stuff, but when ordering the lackadasiy print, I noticed that the hardcover version is waaay less expensive than paperback

isn’t it usually the other way around?

That's a third party merchant with one of the ages old original paperbacks, I imagine. I don't have any control over how they price it. I'll just say, uh, you definitely don't have to pay that much for the book if you want one.

I know you sell books on Amazon and Bookshop, but I'm wondering if you'll be selling them on lackadaisyshop.com and ironcircus.com/store?

They may end up in the LackadaisyShop - we have to work that out with our merch partner, but I don't have details about how that might unfold just yet. In the meantime, if you'd rather not order from Amazon, I completely understand. The book is available from other retailers like Barnes and Noble, Target, and Bookshop.org as well. If you have a favorite little corner bookshop that doesn't stock it, they probably would be able to order it for you on request from Ingram.

Absolutely loving the idea of a clockwork type mood board for Mordecai! Yk, a buncha clocks n gears n stuff! Think you could do something like that?

I think I made it more steampunk by accident, too much gears n not enough clocks. But I hope it suffices!

Working on the bigger project at hand has left me very little time for the smaller sketches and drawings that bring me a lot of joy.

Grateful to have patron streams for getting back to basics and sketching some fun things, though. This was Zib as an aging hippie, by request from a past stream. (Also, he's very disappointed in whoever rolled that thing.)
