He spends the next few days being quieter than his usually self which the others notice real quick ā One of the other pillars (like shinobu or even uzai) then has to spend the next hour or so telling him that yes, he has a crush on you and that he was feeling jealous over the fact that your smiles and laughter werenāt from him talking to you

Very responsive to your hugs and other small signs of affection but never thinks that its more than you being a good friend (remember! Heās just abit dense) and wouldnāt think that itās you trying to drop him hintsĀ
Confusion. Surprised pikachu x5 then amplify it by twice over after heās had a bit of time to think
Doesnāt really know what to do or how to act around you know that heās realised what he feels ā so tries to distance himself which of course really gets your attention but then it ends up being him doing the quickest u-turns to sprint away whenever youāre in view
So much self-doubt and confliction ā why would you ever want or love someone like him? ā but just the thought of getting to see your smiling face every day, getting to laugh and hug you whenever he wanted? Just the thought of those things almost breaks him out of that self-doubt
It isnāt until you literally corner him and ask him if youāve done something to upset him that he has a sense of clarityĀ
So, itās in that exact moment he asks you out

First things first! This boy is so shy around women, so to have plucked up the courage to actually ask out the girl (aka you) who is as equally shy is a miracle ā it had gotten to the point that there were harmless little bets on who would ask out who first and how long it would take for this to happen
Ā Your kind shyness seems to help tone down his foul mouth and slight ill-temper ā one minute heāll be riled up swearing left + right and then he just seems to stop once hearing your voice or feeling your warm gentle hands tugging at his uniform his anger now non-existent and the rumblings of threats dead before they even got to leave his mouth
Ā A soft boy. But only for you.Would he ever admit this? MaybeĀ
When your shyness gets the better of you he will always step in to help you with it completely eradicating his shyness around you
Ā Protective ā Itās like a switch gets flipped in him, he goes from being cute + blushing to āIām going to take your kneecaps to use for bowls if you make her cryā type thing, except of course its less words and more scowling
He will fight anyone that is making you uncomfortable or thatās insulted you ā they will not be escaping a fight with him if they do anything that causes you to cry no matter if you try to hold it in
Ā It becomes a habit for him to walk you home every day ā pretending to not be swooning on the inside at how cute you are ā and once youāre at your door to kiss you on your cheek, he even use to do this before he manged to gain the courage to ask you out
Ā Affection is something that still makes the two of you blush like crazy ā hand holding, and hugs arenāt something that make the two of you blush as much as they used too but kissing on the other hand is still very much blushing territory
Ā Kisses when the two of you are in private will always be slow and gentle
Ā Hugs are always just as gentle and warm ā he likes to rest his head on top of yours whenever the opportunity arises
Ā Hand feeding him food? Thatās it. Heās gone. Hand feeding him food that you personally made him? Double gone. ā he still almost cries when you cutely offer him any home-made food or cakes/biscuits that you cooked/baked
Giving him gifts also has the same effect ā granted heās just a tidgey bit insecure so will look up at you quite a few times to make sure that it is truly for him before getting this adorable soft look upon his face
Ā Still stutters + blushes like crazy when giving you compliments ā this also happens to you when trying to compliment him back however he tends to start stammering and walking backwards so fast that he trips over whatever happens to be in the way
When in battle the both of you working together is like a well-oiled machine ā even when out of battle you work together perfectly ā missions seem to get done quicker

He tinks that its cute more often than not ā Tanjiro understands your tendencies to run away on the off chance that he was approaching you, however on occasion he simply needs an embrace; particularly after a troublesome mission, he needs a warm embrace to get him in the groove again. However you were somewhat staying away from him, he could tell.
He sees you happily bantering with either Zenitsu or Inosuke, and as he approach you three ā you quickly excuse yourself: āI believe Aoi's calling me-ā at that point you immediately hurried to Aoi before any of the three could answer.

Though heās never the first one to initiate hugs or cuddles, heās too nervous to do that.
But you can easily tell when he needs them, especially when heās feeling sad.

-Heās really confused and groggy when he wakes up to someone ringing his doorbell nonstop. Had he missed the morning announcement? But the clock said it wasnāt even midnight yet...
-When he opens the door and sees you, shaking and very obviously terrified, he moves aside to let you rush in
-Heās very worried, and heās nearly pestering you with questions about whatās wrong. You have to hug him to get him to be quiet, sobbing into his chest
-He hugs you back, lifting a hand to gently pat your head as you try to explain what had just happened
-After he learns that someone had tried to kill you, heāsĀ enraged. How dare someone try to hurt you? Heāll show them, donāt worry, heāll protect you!!
-Heās stopped by you before he can make it to the door, and he immediately calms down when you shakily ask if you can stay the night
-āOf course! Donāt worry, Gonta will protect you!ā
-He gladly lets you stay the night, holding you tightly in his arms to remind you that heās here for you
Keebo (K1-B0)
-Keebo doesnāt sleep in the first place, so he wasnāt that alarmed when you started ringing his doorbell until he realized that other people do sleep. And usually are right now
-Heās hesitant to open the door, afraid it could be someone trying to kill him, so he only opens it a sliver
-He immediately swings it open once he recognizes you, a large smile on his face. It quickly fades once he realizes how scared you look
-You rush inside, gently pushing him back and locking the door behind you
-āY/N? Why are you so scared? Did someone-?ā he cuts off as you start to explain what happened
-Once he understands, heās about to to wake everyone up to tell them what happened. He only stops when you ask him if itās okay if you spend the night here
-He lets you, of course (but not without a stutter), and invites you to sit on his bed with him to try and distract you
-He gladly holds your hand and chats with you, reminding you that heāll protect you, itās okay if you go to sleep, heās right here
Kaito Momota
-āWha-? Y/N, what are you-?ā he cuts off as soon as he sees the tears streaming down your face, pulling you inside immediately
-āHey, hey, whatās wrong? What happened?ā
-Heās quick to wrap his arms around you, pulling you into his chest as you cry, murmuring assurances as he tries to settle you down
-Once youāve calmed down enough to tell him what happened, heās livid. Heās about to run out the door to give whoever tried to kill you a piece of his mind
-And then he remembers how shaken up you still are, so he pulls you back into his chest, rubbing circles on your back as he comforts you
-āHey, donāt worry about a thing, Y/N. Youāve got me, now, and Iām not gonna let anything happen to you, got it?ā
-He grins as you nod, sniffling. He takes you back lay on his bed with him, you donāt even have to ask him to stay the night, because heās definitely not letting you go back out there alone
-He wraps you up tight in his arms, nuzzling his face into your hair/pressing a kiss to your head as he talks about some of his old stories to try and lull you into sleep. Heād deal with whoever tried to hurt you tomorrow
Korekiyo Shinguji
-He has to rush to put on his mask before opening the door, he didnāt expect someone to try and visit him in the middle of the night
-Heās a little miffed at the disturbance, but it fades away almost immediately when he opens the door and sees you so fearful
-He can easily guess what had happened and readily pulls you inside, peeking out into the hallway to make sure no one was there before shutting the door and locking it
-He lets you cry into his chest, running his fingers through your hair/rubbing your back
-āItās alright, Y/N, Iāve locked the door, and Iām right here. No one is getting in.āĀ
-He doesnāt ask you to explain what happened, and heās the one who offers for you to stay the night with him. Not only will it soothe you, but he doesnāt want you going back out there, anyway.
-He leads you to his bed, and on the way he grabs one of his books and offers to read it to you
-He lets you lean against his chest as he reads it aloud, often stopping mid sentence to explain in further detail, until you eventually drift off
Rantaro Amami
-Heās likely trying to sleep when you start ringing his doorbell, which annoys him just a little bit
-All annoyance leaves him as soon as he sees your wide, panic stricken eyes, and before he can ask whatās wrong you rush into the room
-He locks the door, quickly turning back to you to pull you into his arms. He runs his fingers through your hair/rubs your back in comfort
-Only as you start to calm down will he ask what happened, and when you tearfully explain, heāll just hug you tighter to him
-āIāve got you. No one is gonna hurt you, Iām right here.ā
-He gladly lets you stay the night when you ask, already leading you over to the bed to lay down together
-He brings you close to him, pressing a kiss to the top of your head as you two settle down
-Heāll tell you some of his stories about when he traveled the world to try and lull you into sleep
Ryoma Hoshi
-He was probably already awake when you started ringing on his doorbell
-He didnāt really think much about it when going to open the door. If someone wanted to kill him, so be it.Ā
-It was when he saw you, not brandishing a weapon, but crying did he start to get worried.Ā
-He moves aside to let you rush in, closing the door quickly after you and locking it.
-āY/N, whatās wrong? Did someone...?ā he trails off when you nod, and you donāt have to say anything else. He motions you to follow him as he goes to sit on his bed
-He asks if you want to talk about it, heās all ears if you do, he understands how scary something like that is
-Heāll listen carefully if you do, nodding and showing his support through holding your hand gently. If not, heāll nod and think of other ways to distract youĀ
-In the end he lets you lay your head on his chest while he talks about some old tennis stories of his to help you fall asleep. Heās not too fond of talking about them, but if itāll soothe you, heāll talk about anything.Ā
Shuichi Saihara
-When he wakes up to the frantic ringing of his doorbell, the first thing he feels is worry
-Who would be ringing his doorbell insistently at this time of night? Had something happened? Another murder?
-When the opens the door and sees you, terrified, he freezes for a moment before quickly pulling you inside and locking the door
-āY/N?! Whatās wrong, what happened? Donāt tell me someone-...ā you cut him off by explaining that someone had tried to hurt you, and he canāt help the relief that it wasnāt another death. That it wasnāt your death
-He sighs in relief before pulling you into a tight hug, rubbing your back soothingly as you cry
-āIām so glad youāre okay, Y/N.ā
-He offers for you to stay the night with him before you can even think to ask him, he wants to make sure whoever tried to hurt you is not able to try again
-He hugs you close to him when you two lay down to sleep, murmuring assurances that no one can get in, heāll protect you, as you fall asleep

Imagine this: being the ultimate dancer and teaching your boyfriend ballroom. Gundham, Gonta and Nagito seem like the perfect picks to me.Ā
Gundham
Gundham is very hesitant to dance with you at first. The proximity and the intimacy of ballroom, the very dance you wanted a partner for, scared him a little.
Heāll come up with any excuse he can, be it his skin being poisonous, or him not needing the power this ādark ritualā will grant you. While rambling, heāll pull up his scarf to hide his blush.
However, after a little bit of convincing, heāll agree to your ādark ritualā in true Gundham style. He actually wanted to try dancing with you, but heās embarrassed because heās never danced before and heās afraid of making a fool out of himself in front of you.
Once you start, and you put his hand on your waist, he jumps back. He starts stammering about not wanting to disrespect your decency. Once you tell him you put his hand there though, heās done talking. You pull him towards you and put his hand on your waist once again. This time it stays there, but he doesnāt have it in him to look you in the eye.
You finally assume the proper position and start teaching Gundham the steps. Heās staring at his feet a lot, both to watch his feet and to avoid your eyes. Heās a blushing mess, but focussing on his feet helps him calm down a bit.
Once he gets down the steps, heās pretty good at it. He doesnāt have much confidence in it still, but you can see potential in him.
Once he gets used to it, Gundham actually likes the proximity of ballroom dancing. When the confidence sets in and heāll be able to look at your eyes instead of at his feet, dancing together becomes a very nice, romantic moment. There may even be some stolen kisses here and there.
Donāt ask him to dance in front of other people though. It makes him super nervous and heāll make a lot of mistakes because of it, making him even more insecure.
Gonta
Gonta is super excited to dance with you! Heās wanted to learn it for a while now, because thatās what a gentleman should be able to do, right? But most people are too scared of his looks to actually take the time to teach him how to dance, let alone be that close to him.
He already knows how to hold you but thatās where it stops. He has no idea of the steps. You start teaching him, but heās a slow learner. For every new step he learns, he forgets another. Youāll need a lot of patience to teach Gonta.
He constantly apologises, be it for stepping on your toes, for making a wrong move, or for forgetting a previous step. Gonta tries really hard and wants to do well, both for himself and for you, so youāll have his constant attention.
Luckily Gonta has a natural sense of rhythm, so once he gets the steps down, heāll get pretty good at dancing. As soon as he hears you tell him heās doing great, his confidence will grow even more and his moves will grow bolder as well.
Expect random hugs when he does well. He just gets so happy because heās doing well at something you love and heās close to you! Once he has it down, he really enjoys dancing, and will often ask you to dance.
Heās not afraid to dance in front of other people, quite the contrary. Gonta is proud of what you taught him, and by dancing with you he can show everyone how good of a gentleman he is!
Gonta will also ask you to teach him different dances. Ballroom, Latin, disco,ā¦ doesnāt matter. Heās caught the dancing bug, and you donāt mind one bit.
Ā Nagito
Nagito is a little surprised youād want to dance with him, but heāll accept nonetheless. Heās flattered youād even consider him a dancing partner, despite having been together for a while already.
Heās never danced before, so youāre going to have to explain it all from scratch to him. No problem though, Nagito soaks up your every word anyway, no matter what youāre saying. Youāre an angel of hop and heās your most devoted follower, or so he claims.
Dancing with Nagito is probably one of the most interesting and exciting things youāve done, because you never know whatāll happen. Sometimes he has the steps down perfectly and youāre having the best dance ever, sometimes, he makes a misstep but manages to do a complicated twirl perfectly because of it and sometimes heāll actually trip and fall, dragging you with him but you always fall in the perfect position for some cuddles or a kiss. Youāve got to admit, his talent really is something.
Sometimes his hands may wander a bit lower than your waist. You can easily see by his expression if this is on purpose or not. When it happens by accident, heās looking at you with some lovestruck expression, or his eyes are closed and heās relaxing and enjoying the moments. When itās on purpose, heās looking at you with this little annoying grin. He doesnāt mind getting caught.
Entering any contests with him hardly feels fair though. With both skill and luck on your side, the competition doesnāt stand a chance. They trip on something or mess up their steps, bump into other people,ā¦ while you and Nagito gracefully move around, avoiding any and all people who are stumbling and falling.
But at the same time, you and Ā Nagito really enjoy the contests and seeing what will happen this time.
