Vicky Hailing a Taxi Having the kind of raw physical strength Vicky possesses is not without problems. This is a prime example, Vicky was walking down a sidewalk and sees a Taxi speeding by. She eagerly run to the edge of the curb and extends her hand calling out for the cab. She did not realize there was a truck driving by and it slams into her powerful arm with nearly zero warning to the driver. She hardly feels the impact of the fully loaded tuck and its only when she sees the driver fly off past her that she realizes what she has just done.

Don't worry, she reacts quickly, catches up to him in midair and saves him from hitting the ground face first. He still needs medical attention suffering from many bone fractures but at least she saved him from an instant and gruesome death.

This young woman is Jane Cortez, one of my very first original characters I drew over 20 years ago. She is not a young girl; in fact Jane is cannonically in her early 30s. She was meant to be the largest and strongest of all my characters; an unmovable bulwark of female muscle. However in time there have been a few characters who are taller (like Pam and Narima Azizi) and a very few who are stronger (Cassandra is meant to have near limitless strength even though she is not as big or as muscular as Jane).

Jane’s strength is still so off the charts there is no real test that current human technology can produce that she can’t overpower. The only reason it is known that Cassandra is stronger is because they arm wrestled once and Cassandra won without any vissible effort.

Here is one of my favorite characters. I have posted a few images of her and now I’m fleshing her out a bit more. The first thing one may notice about her is her body weight. She weighs a bit over half a metric ton and most of it comes from her muscles being very dense. The in-universe reason is that metahuman muscle fibers are a lot thinner and a lot stronger and contract faster. Each fiber weighs about as much as that of a normal person but at a fraction of the volume. So, if a metahuman stands side to side with a normal person of the same size and muscle build, the metahuman will be many times heavier. Vicky’s size plus her highly developed musculature give her an insane amount of strength. She is the main character of a new comic book I’m working on. The first issue should be out in August. The story takes place as she starts her college career. She is happy with her physical gifts but tries to have a life as normal as possible. At the beginning of the story she is young woman with typical young woman concerns, trying to fit in, anxiety over her college experience, her desire to help out in her community and a nostalgia over the young man she gave her heart to and has not seen in years. She will however become unwillingly involved in corporate crime, a kidnapping and her introduction to a secret group of highly powerful meta human women. It is a lot of work, designing all the characters (main and secondary), the locations (her home, college, and many other places).
