Left to Right = Newest to Oldest Back in 2016, I wanted to do a portrait of me making a ridiculous face. In 2018, I redid the portrait in a different medium. A little while after that, I painted the portrait in Procreate. And then yesterday, I added some more detail and contrast to see how much I learned and break in some new software. I love redoing old pieces because it makes me realize how much I’ve learned. Saturday mornings just got a whole lot murderier. Grab a bowl of cereal and your favourite nicotine patch and get ready for The Cartoon Adventures of Sherlock, featuring the voice talent of none other than some guy who passably sounds like Benedict Cumberbatch! I was following a tutorial on how to model a stylized 3D character in Blender, and I noticed the mouth on mine kind of looked like Benedict Cumberbatch, so I just sort of leaned into that.
