A thing I love about Ku'Gath is that like. When he fell into the cauldron Nurgle was really amused
But meanwhile Ku'Gath is torn up about ruining his father's plans
He took it so hard, bless him

So, reading the new Blacktalon book, which like the animated series retcons the previous novel out of existence. They are hunting a Slaaneshite..... That has some how figured out a way to eat nurglings and not die.
I wouldn't recommend it for everyone, but I bet Paz'uz has had an accidental Nurgling in his diet, or two!

I guess I'm not done with the early 90s, these old Nobs and a Mekboy were painted forever ago, but I never put banners on their back poles until a few days ago. I also painted up the scrap mounds from Speedfreaks so that the boyz would have something to fight over.
Most of what I have been posting for the last year has been finishing ancient projects. I've learned some new techniques, and mainly I've learned better discipline, and I've finished over 550 pieces in the past 14 months.

Week #5: So Many Tiny Details
I don't think taking a week per mini is a great thing, but I have very limited time as a teacher. I've been kind of just using the time I do have to practice my brush control for the most part. I'm definitely getting better because cleaning up isn't as bad lately. So I'll consider that progress and a victory.
As for the mini itself, oh my god there are so many small details on this particular one. Every time I thought I was done base coating little things of slime I found another one to paint. I'm more than positive I missed some slime on this model. I refuse to let it bother me, but it's going to. So I just won't look for them. No one is even going to see it once it's on the table top. I'm starting to understand that, but my brain won't let me not paint every tiny detail. Like the maggots on his left foot that no one is even going to notice.

I bought an airbrush, first time owning some kind of specialised tool like this and I gotta say, it’s pretty great having a machine.
It has a pressure gauge!
Look, a valve and a pipe! Can you imagine?
A big red switch! It lights up when you switch it, and the machine really does go brrrrrrr!
Look, it needs these special chemicals! They have no warning labels so that means I can drink them.
Who else out there has a cool machine?

Navigator by Lee Petty
From the artist: I’ve been experimenting with a new process for this one. I took one of my old ink drawings, printed it out, and as I scanned it back in, I moved the image, which created some distortion. I then incorporated that distortion into the piece with more painting.
