Week two of bookbinding class! We did an accordion fold with our first hardback. You could choose to put a spine on if you wanted but I wanted mine to be able to open from either direction. Next week, stab binding!
I need to practice at least 10 minutes a day, so I'm setting up a post to reblog every 24 hours, if you give me a word or short phrase to write I'll take a picture of it!
My sister confirms those elementary school music classes were not a fever dream.
A song my music teacher taught us in elementary school. The only lyrics I remember are marsupials are not soup at all, marsupials can be big or small. Partially suggested by @clairebearbitch

An orange cat with big eyes sits next to a white box with the words 'Liberation Kitchen' stenciled on it. An off-camera voice says:
"Hi baby! I need to explain something to you. You are an obligate carnivore. That means you like tasty tasty meats. These..." the camera focuses on the box briefly, "are delicious vegan donuts. That means they have no meat, no dairy... they're very very yummy. Wanna see?"
A hand reaches into frame to open the box, revealing three donuts, one sprinkled with cinnamon, one with chocolate and a ball of cookie dough on top, one bright pink with a strawberry in the hole.
"Let's take a look here. Mmm... ooh look at those! I've got a Greta, I got a cookie dough... it's delicious stuff... but there's nothing in there that has any nutritional value for a cat!"
The camera pans back to show the same orange cat still sitting, looking back and forth between the box and camera person.
"No! No. And I happen to know there is a delicious plate of gravy and meat chunks just in the other room."
The orange cat turns and starts to walk off camera.
