My friend really likes this youtuber Thiz is Dan and asked me if I could make him a scarf. (For reference he owns a restaurant that you can meet him at)

I thought the navy blue and black would be a good combination for a man because you can only see the pattern in certain light. I had to really edit it to be seen.

Made it hard to make since the light in my apartment isn't good enough to see once the sun goes down. But I really like the finished result!

My friend asked me recently to work with her design, but then she stopped giving me ideas for the design so I just had to do whatever I wanted.

The main idea was to create a base scarf, then add details to it by sewing them on, something I've never done before.

I started by doing a Ling green cord that I sewed on, then the leaves, then the roses. Finally I thought the scarf looked too empty, and decided to make some falling rose petals to fill the space.

I'm not 100% in love with the final product, but I'm happy I tried something new. I likely won't do something like this in the future as it took way too long and was way too much work. But it was a good start.

Recently did a little package for a person my friend likes on Instagram. He has a P.O box so my friend asked me to send him some stuff. The design for both the scarf and little pot holder (?) Was fun, plus the bunny is a cute little extra.

This person on Instagram is Korean, and makes reels about fusion cooking using Korean food and a variety of other countries food. It's pretty interesting content.

Photo Update

I decided, while I have a free day, to take some updated photos of the scarves I have on hand. Some of them I've had for a few years and the photos I do have no longer match the style of photos I have been taking recently.

I also have better lighting in my new apartment so the photos are much better quality. Instead of separate posts, I'll just post them all in this post to make it easier for everyone to see. Enjoy!

Still to date my most popular post, and in my real life people have been asking about this scarf, so might be doing more of these soon 😏

My friend is super into musicals and loves singing. She told me once that a song that had a lot of meaning to her was "Think of Me" from Phantom of the Opera.

So for her birthday I designed this scarf for the first 8 bars of the song. I hope I read the sheet music right and translated it to the design properly.

Might be a while until I can post a new scarf, folks. I do have one on the go, but a friend asked me to join a charity group for her church that needs more hands to knit a butt load of scarves for orphaned children.

When I lived with my parents, I would often knit blankets for the humane society (and occasionally do when I visit home) but I haven't done much charity work since I moved out 5 years ago. So it will be nice to do something for a good cause.

I'm also in the process of moving, finishing school, applying for a visa, and desperately searching for a job.

Eventually, once everything is settled moving and school wise, I am going to start selling my scarves online to make some extra money (and clear up some room in my place lol). So hopefully then we'll start seeing more designs and posts here.

I'd also like to work on a Christmas scarf design similar to what I did for Halloween, but I'm not sure i'll have the time or inspiration to do it. Christmas has lost a lot of meaning to me since I moved countries, and the country I moved to doesn't celebrate it really, so I dont have much motivation to do it. I guess we'll see.

For those of you who like seeing the new designs, sorry it'll be a while. I might post all the scarves I make for charity, but not sure. We'll see how I feel come December.
