Soft, Flirty & Fluff
Giant/Tiny Prompts
“There you are..” Whispers that still rumble your core as your trembling form is picked up by gentle, steady fingers— curling around you. Theres nothing but affection in the giants voice.
Giants with elegant, sleek hands and subtle clawed nails carefully plucking up a human between two fingers on their back and their thumb to their torso.
“Awh.. don’t tell me you’re afraid~? I’d never hurt someone as cute as you.”
A giants eyes clouded with affection, a distinctive blush on their features. Their eyes are half-open; focused solely on the tiny.
Giants being teasing when sleepy, gently cooing things like “Waking up a monster like me at this hour~? How brave.” or “Aww.. what will I ever do with you?” Their voice is more velvety, the gentle, sleepy rumble thats followed by soft giggles or a yawn. (even better if the giant has fangs)
Gentle giants that ask before kissing their tiny. Even if the tiny knows if they really wanted, anything the tiny said wouldn’t matter. The mutual respect and love.. throwing away the obvious power imbalances.. i love..
“Whats that look for? Sweetheart, im not going to eat you~! how could i ever do such a thing..”
Loving giants that pepper their tiny love in kisses— lips enveloping their torso and whatever else. The slight squirming of the tiny trying to get comfortable while so obviously giddy, and the giant pulling away as their love is either awe struck or sleepy now. (for girls, the tiny having maybe an accidental lipstick mark or two)
Looming over a tiny with a flirty smile, fawning over how cute they are— curling your hands around them or leaning in to scan their features.
Holding a tiny carefully— getting lost in the moment and beginning to massage their back, shoulders and arms with a thumb, patting their hair until they eventually have fallen asleep.
“You’re safe.” While holding a tiny so close, either comforting them from a memory or nightmare.
Giants kissing tinies on their tummy, its a vulnerable place that protects vital organs— so an abundance of trust would be needed. But goodness, would the gentle contact melt them..
Giants waking a tiny up, not bothering to fish them out of their comfort— instead picking them up, comforters, pillows and all.
Giants that purr

Another thing I want to add is that this applies to all fandoms. No matter where you are. Not just books. You being uncomfortable does not make X, Y or Z problematic. That is a personal problem which you have to deal with yourself. Grow a spine and stop freaking out over the smallest details that you don't like in something.
“Authors should not be ALLOWED to write about–” you are an anti-intellectual and functionally a conservative
“This book should be taken off of shelves for featuring–” you are an anti-intellectual and functionally a conservative
“Schools shouldn’t teach this book in class because–” you are an anti-intellectual and functionally a conservative
“Nobody actually likes or wants to read classics because they’re–” you are an anti-intellectual and an idiot
“I only read YA fantasy books because every classic novel or work of literary fiction is problematic and features–” you are an anti-intellectual and you are robbing yourself of the full richness of the human experience.

Introducing my Swapfell Charas, Violet and Viole!!
Designing them took longer that I thought it would =7=
They serve as the audience surrogate of my Swapfell au! For my Swapfell Au, the viewer has the option to choose either a feminine or a masculine form!! The one not chosen, will have another role in the story. Kinda like Pokemon or Genshin Impact :^))

Why I think it's Important that Frisk and Chara are not Exclusively Non-Binary
This is a response to @saveloadreset ‘s UT Humans’ Genders Theory. I do not mean them any ill will, I just wanted to say where this post’s inspiration came from.
One of the things that Undertale is constantly praised for is its diverse representation. Whether it being Undyne being a lesbian, Alphys being bisexual, Papyrus likely being asexual, or Mettaton showing how being an effeminate man is nothing to be ashamed of, it doesn’t seem to shy away from these topics. What’s better is that all of this is treated normally without any “but you’re both girls” or “you just haven’t found someone you like yet”, showing how these aren’t just alternatives to the supposed “norm”, they are part of the “norm”.
With the appearance of an androgynous main character referred to by them/they pronouns, it’s no surprise that people have said Frisk and Chara are meant to be non-binary. While I think the interpretation of them as non-binary is cool, I do feel that to limit it to “Frisk and Chara should only be seen as non-binary” goes against the whole point of Undertale.
Many refer to the fact that they have an androgynous appearance in reference to Frisk/Chara being non-binary. However, this interpretation seems flawed. Just because Frisk/Chara are ambiguous in their appearance for what society perceives as as masculine and feminine traits doesn’t mean they’re non-binary. We do not decide their gender based on our views of their appearance.
The other more common point that people bring up is that Frisk and Chara are referred to with they/them pronouns. However, this also seems flawed. Consider the monsters, despite having spent an entire day with them as they saved the world only bother to ask Frisk’s name at the end. I believe that the information about Frisk’s gender is ultimately irrelevant to them.
Unfortunately when it comes to Frisk and Chara they make no reference to who they are, and while @saveloadreset believes that assuming is okay, I feel that is a problem in and of itself. As I mentioned, our assumptions do not dictate who someone is, their feelings and identity do.
This calls to mind the “Tweak x Craig” episode of South Park. Even before the episode aired, many people thought of this ship as cute, even though there was no hints whatsoever that this was the case. While I doubt any of the fans seriously believed that Tweak or Craig were gay, we see here in this episode the damages of expectation on people, especially children. Which is another point that makes me unsure of their non-binary gender.
While some, uh… risque fanart might have us forgetting the age of Frisk or Chara, we are dealing with children here. It can take people years to realize their own orientation or gender identity. Frisk can represent the gender and gender politics we project onto them, as gender politics likely do not matter to Frisk in the slightest.
Tumblr media
Unfortunately, because of this, when it comes to Frisk or Chara identifying themselves we get nothing. Frisk has no dialogue, and throughout Chara’s dialogue at the end of the 1st and 2nd+ Genocide route, and in the abyss, they never use they/them in reference to themself. The only one that I could arguable see is in the phrase “The demon that comes when people call its name.” However “its” is common in usage in referring to demons, so this does not seem indicative of anything.
So then, what’s with the ambiguity of Frisk/Chara’s gender if it serves no purpose?
Well it does serve a purpose, namely about assumption making. Toby Fox in their interview often skipped questions about the ambiguous nature of Frisk and many of the monsters’ gender within Undertale. Toby Fox has purposely left many things vague, and it seems this is meant to inspire many interpretations, as he has stated he thinks fan theories are fun. I doubt he would intentionally limit interpretation of Frisk/Chara’s gender to only be non-binary, he often contradicts himself so people can be left to interpret.
Consider also the fact that Frisk has no definable race. They are not meant to be black, white, or asian. They are just Frisk, and that’s really all that matters. The beauty of Frisk and Chara is that they can be one gender, they can be all genders, they can be no gender. The story of Undertale is relevant no matter who is playing, and who Frisk/Chara is to the one who is playing is what ultimately matters.
I say none of this to prove that Frisk/Chara is not non-binary. I think non-binary interpretations of them are cool. I just feel that it limits discussion and our thinking to view non-binary as the only gender they can be.

Made this Undertale Ask Blog to give myself something else to do. Check it out if you want. Or don’t. I don’t care.
Greetings!
Greetings, Humans and Monsters alike. My name is Frisk. Yes. I am the one who helped to break the barrier and free all the monsters. King Asgore requested for me to be the ambassador for all of the monsters, but I’m not really any good at politics. I’m only ten after all.  My point is that I decided to create this ask blog to allow you all to ask questions about monsterkind and to help humans and monsters understand each other a lot more.

An abuse apologist? Really, Tumblr?! All I did was say that Chara was NOT the villain of Undertale, gave facts to back it up and now I’m an abuse apologist?! Good logic, idiots!
