Exciting news: the new Deluxe English edition of V1nland Saga includes official translations of Yukimura's commentary on certain quotes that were only in the guidebook before this. Now you can get them there instead of stealing my work so you can bitch and moan about your yaoi not being canon! 🤩 This is also good news for people who "credit" me while insulting me at the same time. Really a banner day for everyone who thinks they're too good to get caught looking at my nasty blog!

Torgrim was sooo kind and generous for this btw... to the ancient Norse, calling a man a bottom was a slur so harsh they could legally duel you to the death you for it, and were almost expected to do so. It's called ergi, look it up. Brushing off an insult not just to his masculinity but that of a family member is so impossibly brave and compassionate...... you could almost call him..... woke..... Some recent attempts at Atli's children:
Jutta Atladottir (oldest daughter): practical, gets along with Torgrim the best of the children.
Palni Atlason (middle son): a bit cynical, good head for business. He's chubby, but we're symbolizing that with a jacket because there aren't a lot of Picrews with different body types.
Halwarth (youngest son): nice. Gets along decently with his brother but it’s slightly strained by all of them knowing what’s going on with their father and his own brother.
