I know that you like NaruGaa, and you seem to like NaruHina well enough, so I'm curious: how do you feel about NaruIno? All three of these ships seem really fluffy/lighthearted so NaruHinaGaa, NaruHina, NaruGaa, and NaruIno have wound up being my top four ships involving Naruto, and I'm curious how you feel about this ship 😅
Ironically, there was a post in my drafts I wanted to reblog today which is also on theme with this message! Posted it, LOL.
Yes, I love Naruto/Gaara, I enjoy Naruto/Hinata (though I don't have as much an interest their post-Shippuden canon content, as with many couples, it is more the way they exist in my heart). I can't say I've ever thought much about Naruto and Ino!
I think what's fun about Naruto as a character is that he has chemistry with pretty much every one in his age group. There's some art out there that's like, "Naruto has many hands" with his shadow clones holding hands with like all of his peers, and I resonate with that. While I have other ships I lean towards more for both Naruto and Ino, I can nod in appreciation for the Naruto's Friends Falling in Love with Him Cinematic Universe.

What do you think of Kabuto's redemption arc? I feel like given the backstory he was given via the flashbacks in the War Arc, the dude deserved to get a happy life, but at the same time there should have been more buildup about there being some good in him. But I'm interested to know what you think.
Quite honestly, and this isn't going to be the most measured or thoughtful response, I think it's cuckoo bananas that they resolved his arc that way! Sasuke gets an international hit put out on him for trying to kill ONE guy (Bee). The Raikage's brother, but one guy!
40,000 people die in first day the Fourth Shinobi War across all five villages and the samurai, and Kabuto is the only living person responsible. Don't get me wrong, Obito did a lot of it too, but he isn't around to take responsbility for it. So they have this one guy, who resurrected their loved ones and leaders to kill them, resurrected Madara who did a lot of the destruction and Infinite Tsukuyomi first-hand, and who siphoned Yamato's mokuton to reinforce the Zetsu clones, which were the vast majority of the opposing forces. They have literally no one else living that they can blame for this situation. They kill people for just leaving their village, in this society.
And they're like, "It's fine, Itachi had a really good talk with him, and now he's an excellent childcare worker." WHAT. WHAT?

Reasons Why Megumi Fushiguro is a Boy Kisser:
Todo tells him, "If you prefer men, that's fine too." He doesn't ask anyone else about their type this way. Todo's Grade 1 senses and 530,000 IQ accurately assessed the Boy Kisser in Megumi
Megumi uses gender netural pronouns to describe who his type is when he does answer. Boys are a gender!
Subsequently, in the JJK video games, Megumi is too embarrassed to tell Yuji what he said about his type. Why, if he wasn't talking about him? Boy Kisser Behaviour
Megumi conspires with Ozawa and Nobara, Known Boy Kissers, using his precise observations of the Aforementioned Boy's romantic interests
One of his character themes is Island in the Sun by Weezer, which has the lyric, "We'll run away together, we'll spend some time forever." Who's he running away with? Boys, probably
I, the person who wrote this post, am bisexual, and I will project my experiences onto any character I like

Through discussing with pals the things that Nanami could be doing instead of what happens in the Shibuya arc, I have now firmly landed on the belief that Nanami has been absorbing a bit of power from every fight he's ever had so that when he does encounter a threat, he can simply bring his upper body into a different place and regrow his legs Piccolo-style

INCREDIBLE, LOVE IT! Also, for anyone who is curious about context, here are some excerpts from the Married, Colleagues, Divorced Cinematic Universe:
--
Iruka: Why did Naruto say he was going to hang out with my ex-husband?!
Kakashi: I didn’t say much, Naruto was just curious about our history
Iruka: We don’t have a history??
Kakashi: What about when I reupholstered your sofa?
Iruka: Was that... a romantic activity for you?
Kakashi: This is why we’d never work out, Iruka.
--
“Kakashi is here,” Iruka says, wide-eyed and concerned.
Tenzō scratches the back of his neck. He’d sensed that, but it hadn’t seemed out of place. “Well, aren’t you...”
“Yes, but we’ve only been out a few times! And now he’s...” Iruka makes a flurried motion with his hands.
Ah. This is familiar. “Redecorating,” Tenzō says, wisely; sympathetically.
Tenzō leans a little further into the apartment, and past Iruka’s dining table, spots Kakashi, at war with Iruka’s sofa. The kunai piercing through the upturned base suggests he’s already been at this for a while. Already deep in it, then. Kakashi catches Tenzō’s eye as he tilts his head at the scene. Aside from a friendly nod, there is no other pause in Kakashi’s work.
“This is normal,” Tenzō reassures Iruka.
Iruka does not look reassured.

meanwhile, iruka: “why is my couch GREEN??”
