But let me introduce u to this idea!

I like to think that it started on one of the few dates early in your relationship (doesn't have to be the first one)

It'd start raining and you were wearing something either thin or sleeveless.

He takes his slightly heavy yet warm coat and drapes it over you.

Long story short after dating for a long time you develop a style for it.

Like a simple cute outfit but wait... it needs something.

You look through your boyfriend's closet and there it is. The missing piece of your outfit for today.

Taking the coat out of the hanger and putting it on, it's perfect.

Well, let's say you develop a hobby of stealing them again and again.

"Is that my coat?"

"Yes."

"Why do you have it on?"

HI so ur girly here bit off too much she can chew and by that, i mean ur requests make take a lil while i'm sorry! Having a pile of both reqs and homework is making me go haywire and i apologise if i post your request late

But on a different note, i have news on this series i might write!

The whole thing is just diff senarios of camilo having an s/o that has a some kind of trait/hobby similar to his family members.

For example!

Camilo with an s/o that sews (mirabel)

Camilo with an s/o that bakes/ that's julieta's assistant (julieta)

And a bunch more! Hopefully i'll get stuff done before i go into another unplanned hiatus

Camilo Madrigal x Gn!Reader

Contains: Antonio being the cutest, Camilo having fun with u and your new companions

Sypnosis: Antonio gives you a rather suprising present for your anniversary.

Kat: made this based off my hcs with my friend @xdyledz ! (Ps. Will proofread when I wake up later, since it's currently 5am lol)

"Okay Antonio, why are we here?" You asked the excited looking boy with an amused smile, curious as to why he dragged both you and your boyfriend to his room.

"I know it's your anniversary, so I got you something." He says holding what looks to be a colourful box with... holes on the top?

He gives it to Camilo and warns him to be careful as he opens it. Pulling the ribbons apart, he lifts the lid off and— oh my god.

It's the cutest sight to see. Two chameleons that sat beside eachother in the box which was in Camilo's hold.

A gasp leaves your mouth, this was the sweetest thing that's happened today, besides the things your lovely boyfriend has done of course.

You thank the little boy for doing such a sweet thing for the both of you. Kissing his cheeks and enveloping him in a little squeeze as his older brother pats him on the head with a big smile on his face as well.

"What are you gonna call yours corazón?"

"Hm, I think Cami would would suit him just fine." You say with a little smile, it really did resemble him.

"AMOR!! HELP!!" He exclaims, running towards you.

"WHAT?! WHAT IS IT!?!" You shriek, very confused and panicked as to why he's yelling.

"MY CHAMELEON!! SHE'S GONE!!"

"Alright alright! Don't yell so much." You cover his mouth for a second as you rub his hand to calm him down, already knowing that Dolores has probably muttered a "thank you" wherever she was.

But as you still try to calm him down, your face deadpans.

"It's on your head."

"What?"

"It's sleeping in your hair. You idiot."

"Oh."

"You know, you're giving him an awful lot of attention today." Without giving him a glance, you could tell his cheeks were all puffed up from his jealous mood.

"I'm literally just feeding him amor." You snicker at his rather sour attitude, finding it quite amusing.

Stuffing a strawberry in his mouth and placing a kiss after, "Will that keep you quiet?" You coyly say, finding the dash of red on his face even funnier.

Long story short, Antonio has made you both extremely happy with his cute little gesture.

My First Words to You

Camilo Madrigal x Gn!Reader

Contains: the classic trope of "communicating through paper", Camilo having the time of his life lol

Sypnosis: Camilo knows you'd rather not speak. But when you do decide to do it, the first thing you say just makes his heart melt.

Kat: I've seen this trope alot in anime hence why I decided to write abt it! I based reader off of Megumi Yamamoto from special A and a little bit of Komi Shouko from komi can't communicate. Anyways here's a short drabble I made while writing requests, there will be more to come~

When Camilo first met you, he thought you were... peculiar.

Not in a bad way, the unusual but cute kind rather.

Reasoning?

You don't talk.

People who knew you long enough had told him you're capable of doing so, but you just prefer not to. You grew weary of your voice and decided to not talk at all, for it was fragile due to a medical issue you have involving your vocal cords. And honestly, you didn't mind having to communicate through a notebook, which you kept in your bag at all times.

And Camilo never had any problem with it, he was just curious at first and of course was very understanding about it.

Some of the little habits he'd have is he'd doodle in it, if you were okay with it of course.

He'd sometimes draw on the cover or on the sides and corners of the pages. His favourite thing to draw would most probably be tiny chameleons, the very same ones that decorate his ruana, and sometimes messages and compliments. Just to make you smile when the jokester himself isn't there with you.

In short, he was overall okay and never had any sort of isssue with it.

That is until now.

Okay, not an issue per say. He just didn't expect you'd say—

The first words you've ever uttered to him.

"Te amo Camilo."

He couldn't believe it. He just couldn't contain himself anymore after that.

The second you murmured it out, his heart melted. You've said "I love you" to him many times, but this was the first where you've actually said it.

And what made it even more great? This was the first time you've spoken in quite a while actually, and you chose to give that very first sentence to him. Out of anyone. Out of all the people in the encanto.

Him.

This was just so special to him. And Camilo being Camilo, all he could do was just drown you in endless affection after.

Sypnosis: You and Camilo apologise to eachother after a fight that is now very much meaningless.

In some cases, space is always a good decision.

After that fight, he storms out. Only to realize he had just added more stress to you. Which was absolutely NOT his intention.

He shouldn't have reacted like that. He shouldn't have yelled at you. It was all in the moment y'know?

But that's no excuse, he had to apologize.

Getting close to his door, he hears your light sobs, it's been quite a while since he left and you're still crying.

Some boyfriend he is.

Going back to grab a glass of water, he knocks gently as to not startle you, and proceeds to enter.

"Princesa? it was dumb of me to get mad at you like that, i'm so—" yet again he's cut off by you. "No i'm sorry! You were just helping and I got all defensive for no reason and you're right for getting mad i'm so sorry Camilo..." your shoulders droop, wating for his answer, which was probably going to be an "I told you so" or some other remark.

But only silence fills the air, cold shoulder maybe?

You get more and more anxious because he's not speaking at all, that is until he sits beside you.

The feeling of his hand lifting your chin to face him shocks you, you thought he'd be mad, why isn't he saying anything? Why doesn't he look angry?

"Mi cielo, I was never mad, I was just frustrated and took it out on you. I'm sorry, I love you so much corazón." He trails out softly, and the feeling of his lips touching yours provided you the much needed relief that you both are finally okay.

Contains: angst, angst aaaand did i forget angst? Camilo being a lil ooc but it's for the sake of the plot

Sypnosis: Your already anxious self just got yelled at. In public. And your boyfriend isn't really helping either.

Kat: I didn't know if this was supposed to end with angst but i'm going to make a part 2 for the ppl (cough cough me) who like happy endings. ♡ (ps. Not proofread yet cause im very lazy atm)

People usually wouldn't expect that Camilo, the town's mischievous prankster, would be dating you.

While you were quiet, not very talkative or even sociable at all, Camilo still loved you very much and he knew that wouldn't change.

But right now, the both of you are having... let's say complications.

It all started when you were buying some fruit from the market, which was one of your chores for the day. You happened to bump into a tall man beside you, causing the vase he was carrying to fall and hit the floor hard. He didn't take it that well.

He began yelling, shouting at you. And you started to realize everyone's eyes were at you. Who was currently being scolded just because of a small accident.

Your poor self couldn't even apologise, let alone get a word out. After what seemed like an eternity of him shouting curses at you, he calms down. You eventually pay for what you've broken and you leave, still feeling everyone's eyes on you as you feel shame all over.

The moment you've gotten out of everyone's sight, tears well up in your eyes, sitting on a small step by a street which seemed to not have much people around, you cried. Shakily, tears fall and fall, never seeming to end.

Camilo rushes, trying desparately to find you after Dolores told him what had happened. And finally, he spots your brightly coloured skirt with it's unique design. It'a definitely you.

"Mi amor?"

Your head jolts up to face his worried expression, it's was your boyfriend.

"I knew it was you, Dolores told me everything, are you hurt??" He could feel the anger rise in him at the mere thought of some idiot making you cry.

"Leave me alone Cami, I just got shaken up is all..." you knew you were lying, he knew as well but didn't question it, not wanting to pry. You'll tell him when you're ready.

He helps you up and takes you back to the Madrigal's casita. Letting you sit in his room to get comfortable.

The sobbing just doesn't stop does it? And who could blame you? Someone with a sensitive nature like you couldn't handle getting both yelled AND stared at.

He sets a cup of tea by your side and hands you his handkerchief. "Mi amor, I'm so sorry, i'll always be here by your side if you need m—" you feel him put an arm around you, your eyes widen and push him away. "Don't touch me!" It was on pure instinct, you didn't mean to snap at him. It's just someone touching you when you're in this much distress just doesn't help.

"What the hell??" He was in shock, how could you push him away like that when he's just trying to help?

He's not angry at you, but he does tend to take his frustrations out on things, leading him to say and think things he would never mean.

But it wasn't like you knew that right now. You've already dealt with that jerk at the market, you really don't want to be in another fight right now.
