Hi, Tumblr. It’s Tumblr. We’re working on some things that we want to share with you.
AI companies are acquiring content across the internet for a variety of purposes in all sorts of ways. There are currently very few regulations giving individuals control over how their content is used by AI platforms. Proposed regulations around the world, like the European Union’s AI Act, would give individuals more control over whether and how their content is utilized by this emerging technology. We support this right regardless of geographic location, so we’re releasing a toggle to opt out of sharing content from your public blogs with third parties, including AI platforms that use this content for model training. We’re also working with partners to ensure you have as much control as possible regarding what content is used.
Here are the important details:
We already discourage AI crawlers from gathering content from Tumblr and will continue to do so, save for those with which we partner.
We want to represent all of you on Tumblr and ensure that protections are in place for how your content is used. We are committed to making sure our partners respect those decisions.
To opt out of sharing your public blogs’ content with third parties, visit each of your public blogs’ blog settings via the web interface and toggle on the “Prevent third-party sharing” option.
For instructions on how to opt out using the latest version of the app, please visit this Help Center doc.
Please note: If you’ve already chosen to discourage search crawling of your blog in your settings, we’ve automatically enabled the “Prevent third-party sharing” option.

Please do yourself a favor and block the certain people harassing you. The one I see you replied to is indeed part of a group of people that have a history of baiting people with posts so they can argue with them/harass them. Ranging from harassing people over comic opinions, characters they dislike, and now this. One person of said group is even the person that wished death on the writer for the Sonic comics a few months back. They haven't changed their behavior in years and you're better off staying away and saving yourselves the stress

Wait, she copies people too? I knew about everything else from before any warning posts, but I've been off Twitter for weeks now so I've not seen anything. I'm sorry you're getting harrassed over this, and that it's spread to other platforms
Yep! Decided I'll just SS my twitter posts so I will leave them under the cut.
It's now deleted, but I QRT'd the post where she called my callout on her "petty" for context. Also, all but 1 of these examples are things that people have come to me about because: 1) I don't check up on people I don't like and 2) I don't necessarily care about copying that much. Most claims are tenuous at best imo.
However, it seems to be a trend I've heard from multiple people, so I decided to bring it up.
Above is a drawing/idea i had for a mutual friend's birthday (first). I know she saw it because she asked me a couple times to draw a caked up silver.
Cute little doodle I did that I turned into a YCH (first). I have her blocked on everything but I guess she saw other people doing it and wanted in.
(If you want to make your own, go for it, but I do think it's weird since she blacklisted me and gets upset seeing my art. Not upset enough to avoid ripping my shit I guess.)
An old gift I did for someone (first) vs a very recent and incredibly fast commission from her (second).
I would say this isn't actionable/is a coincidence if it weren't for the fact that the client themselves agreed it looked weirdly similar and that it was rushed out in like 2 days as opposed to the months she takes on everyone else's comms. Wonder how she got this done so fast.
The only allegation I can personally make happened in my server (when I had one).
I was spitballing ideas for a fantasy AU and I had taken to VC to hash out my ideas because I'm someone who needs feedback for my creative process.
My OG idea was to just take my ship and make it fantasy (thief x person in power) and i played around with it but in the VC I settled back on it.
She then went on, after being in this VC, to take this idea and draw it up that night. She admits she took the idea, even.
This is not the first time she has done something like this. I have it on good authority that she's done this to someone else in their own personal server too. If you discuss an idea for your stuff and people like it, she will take it before you have a chance to finish it.
