Feeling a little silly, have a little 100 word drabble for @deadbranch challenge.
You stared at the veritable explosion in the living room. What looked to be every skein of yarn you owned lay strewn about, most of them at least half unraveled. Needles and hooks littered the mess like shining pieces of multi-colored shrapnel. The vase had been knocked over (somehow not broken), flowers everywhere.
In the middle of the chaos stood Gaz and the dog.
Neither of you owned a dog.
"I don't want to know," you said, holding up one hand just as Gaz opened his mouth. "Just... clean it up."
Shoulders deflated, Gaz offered only a sheepish, "Yes ma'am."
