Hi JKK! Just wanted to say congratulations on your rebranding! Seems like a smart choice, since you no longer feel a connection to KK. Also, I celebrate the move because, as I have been following you for months now and have asked some tellonym qs, I always thought you never quite understood KK fully, the nuances behind her, like yeah you liked her fashion presence, but that was it. You even said her philanthropic in coding “bored you”, and then had the nerve to quit her because of some diluted sense of ethics (or clout, you love your following). I think KK deserves better or nothing, you were not it, you don’t get her AT ALL. Never have. You have no idea whats she is about. Please remove de letter kk also from your branding.

After posting for 10 years about Karlie (it is my Tumblr anniversary tomorrow), I've decided I'm gonna be taking a break from it. I don't know for how long it will be, but right now I feel like it is the right thing to do.

This past week I've been reading and learning a lot more about what it is going in Gaza and between Palestinians and Israelis, and even though I probably still have a lot more to learn, now I feel like I have proper idea of what is going on and can form my opinion about it. And that opinion doesn't align with where Karlie stands.

I've wanted to wait, to give her the benefit of the doubt because she's human and can make mistakes like anyone else. But on that last story she's shared with Ronald Lauder's letter there are things that haven't sat well with me, and for now I can't keep supporting her if she thinks like that. If she agrees with that.

So I'm gonna be taking a hiatus from all my Karlie accounts. I would like it to be a see you soon instead of a goodbye, but only time will tell.

To everyone who has followed me over the years, whether you've interacted with me or not... Thank you. Thank you for this little community we created, it has meant a lot to me 🫶🏻

And even though I won't be posting about Karlie, I'm not disappearing, I'm not deleting my accounts. My dms and anons are still open, and if you want to talk about anything, fashion related or not, I will be there and I will reply to you. I've met really nice people and I would not like to lose touch with you all.

Anon, I've read you and I agree with some of the things you've said, especially about you know who. But it's best if I don't post it, especially right now. I don't want her fans to somehow read it and fill my inbox with nasty comments.

Also I completely agree with you. When I don't like someone anymore I unfollow and move on to support the cause I hold dear. I don't see any of these anger twitter people say what exactly they're doing to support anyone. It's unhealthy to be so attached to a stranger that you turn to hate when they don't react they way you want them to. And personally yeah I wished she worded things differently but I support humanitarian causes all around. Like just because I hate Putin and I hope Ukraine prevails for example I'm not gonna hate someone choosing donating things for kids in Russia. The only way I'd think Karlie is a bad person is if she'd post something hateful against regular Palestinians. And evenJosh liked stuff saying not to confuse regular Palestinians with Hamas.

Like I said on twitter, this is a very complex and sensitive topic, and I'm gonna keep reading and learning about it instead of saying something stupid like many people are doing and then regretting it later. Besides, it isn't mandatory to say something.

And I agree with you on people being so attached to a stranger that it turns unhealthy. I'm seeing it on the football fandom every time one of the single players are rumoured to be dating someone. The hate those poor girls and even the boys get from so called fans is so disgusting...

I have this blog, my personal one or my accounts on other platforms for fun, as a hobby. And I don't take it too seriously. But the way some people get so attached and invested... I don't know. Maybe I've learnt to be this chill after years of being part of fandoms and seeing it all, or maybe it is just that I am from a different generation 😅

It could be a possibility, but I don't think that's it. I can't remember the last time a fan stopped her in NY for a photo and then posted it. Lately all the posts she was tagged in were spam, people doing the looking camp right in the eye meme and me and a couple of other fan accounts.
