to all non spanish speaking content creators out there, I beg you:
do not use the term “mija”
“Mija“ is a term your mom uses
“Mija“ is a term your grandma probably uses
why? because it is “mi hija” shortened, as in “my daughter”. It is not really a term your romantic partner would use when referring to you. In my opinion, it´s kinda cringy and a turn off
remember, just because you saw an endearment in another language it doesn’t mean it can be applied to all situations
it’s a little deppressing when there are a lot of prettier endearments out there:
amor, mi amor = love, my love
cielo, mi cielo = heaven, my heaven (?) or a placeholder for darling
corazón = heart
tesoro = treasure
vida, mi vida = life, my life

I love opening up this website first thing like the morning paper and immediately seeing multiple posts like "how to get rid of the evil clown on the dashboard". like oh is this what we're doing today

But one is a stranger, a woman she notices while she sits on a bench, gathering herself. It’s a type of woman she has never seen before, because there are no old women in Barbieland. When Barbie looks at her, she finds her beautiful and tells her so. The woman already knows. Suddenly Barbie, the fraught aspirational figure, has beheld someone she might aspire to be, and it is a radiantly content nonagenarian, reading a newspaper on a Los Angeles bench, who knows what she’s worth.
“The idea of a loving God who’s a mother, a grandmother — who looks at you and says, ‘Honey, you’re doing OK’ — is something I feel like I need and I wanted to give to other people,” Gerwig says. When it was suggested that this scene, which Gerwig calls a “transaction of grace,” might be cut for time, she remembers thinking: “If I cut that scene, I don’t know why I’m making this movie. If I don’t have that scene, I don’t know what it is or what I’ve done.”

Ghost Files Live was actually amazing. I had high expectations going into it, but they went above in beyond. I laughed the whole time and so did my mom (whom, yeah, I did kinda force along but she loved it even though she's never watched them before)!
But the biggest shout-out I have to give is to the FANS - everyone I saw and talked to was so friendly, nice, talkative, supportive... like everyone really came to represent what a wonderful fandom this truly is. I've been to plenty of concerts/shows/events/blah blah and never have I felt so welcomed amongst a group of strangers before.
Everyone at the Boston show should be proud (even though we boo'ed evidence but you know, it's still Boston). But everyone at Watcher Entertainment, Ryan, Shane - you guys really did that. This is a phenomenal community.
