The crown prince, though endearing in his gentleness, was seen as weak. It was well known among both the nobility and commoners that he was unlikely to ascend to the throne. His role as the heir was merely ceremonial, a consequence of being the eldest. Despite this, she had been appointed as his personal knight. She was resolute in her duty to protect him from the dangers of assassination plots and the cunning whispers of the nobility.

It was a shame; his spirit was generous, yet his brothers possessed a strength and confidence he lacked. But, maybe, with a little encouragement and by rallying her family’s allies to his cause, she could fortify his position.

Character Trope: A compassionate and shy prince, safeguarded by his valiant and tom-boy knight—a woman who will take no shit from anyone.

We had a high number of positive votes for this one and this will be incorporated from now on.

2. Writing competitions.

The votes were almost 50/50. What we will do is create a sister blog for the competitions once we start them and those who choose to participate can follow that blog so it won't clutter the prompts blog.
