El Chupacabra

The chupacabra or chupacabras (literally 'goat-sucker'; from Spanish: chupar, 'to suck', and cabras, 'goats") is a legendary creature in the folklore of parts of the Americas, with its most famous sightings reported in Puerto Rico in 1995. The name comes from the animal's reported vampirism, the chupacabra is said to attack and drink the blood of livestock. Physical descriptions of the creature vary, some describe it as reptilian and alien-like (in Puerto Rico and Latin America), generally as a heavy creature the size of a small bear with a row of spines reaching from the neck to the base of the tail. Others depict it as more dog-like (particularly in Southwestern United States). Chupacabra Sightings have been reported in Puerto Rico since the 1970s. The creature has since been reported as far north as Maine, as far south as Chile, and even outside the Americas in countries like Russia and Philippines. All of the reports are anecdotal and have been disregarded as uncorroborated or lacking evidence. Sightings in northern Mexico and the southern United States have been verified as canids afflicted by mange. According to biologists and wildlife management officials, the chupacabra is an urban legend . Although they cannot explain the countless blood-drained corpses found by farmers for decades…

Bigfoot was introduced into the Sims 2 in the Bon Voyage expansion pack. He can be found on a secret lot in the ‘Three Lakes’ vacation neighbourhood. A sim must first locate the secret map for the ‘Hidden Borrow’. Once the map is found Sims will be able to access the lot, speak to Bigfoot, befriend him and eventually ask him to move in. He cannot be romanced without the use of mods.

The Flatwoods Monster

The Flatwoods monster (also known as the Braxton County monster, Braxie, or the Phantom of Flatwoods), is an entity reported to have been sighted in the town of Flatwoods in Braxton County, West Virginia, USA, on September 12, 1952, after a bright object crossed the night sky. The creature was described as having a large pointed "hood-like shape" around the face, eye-like shapes which emitted greenish-orange light, and a dark black or green body. May described the figure as having "small, claw-like hands", clothing-like folds, and "a head that resembled the ace of spades". The creature was said to be approximately 10ft. According to the story, when the figure made a hissing sound and started "gliding" towards the eyewitnesses they fled the area in terror. Some investigators have stated that they believe the light was a meteor and the creature was a barn owl perched in a tree, with shadows making it appear to be a large humanoid. Although many are skeptical of this theory, and the seeming implausibility of multiple different people mistaking a barn owl(which averages at 25cm from head to toe) for a 10 foot hovering entity that hissed and had glowing eyes. The monster seemingly disappeared, but it is still said you can hear the monster hissing in the dead of night in the back woods of West Virginia.
