Anyway it’s so awesome to finally take part in this sort of redraw challenge, especially when it’s about my favorite boys :з Idk if I’ll ever make a DeeChes version as I planned, because I’m tired and satisfied enough with Heavy’s cute face. 1.) What do you use to put animations together? 2.) what do you use? iPad? Comuter? Etc. Your animations and art are so amazing and I’m a newbie, I wanna try animation soon and I wanna know what is best to use!

If you’re referring to animatics in the first question I use DaVinci Resolve! aand for the art I use Computer & Drawing tablet.

Thank you so much! Though I don’t consider myself an animator since I mostly do animatics, but there’s a lot of drawing softwares that allow you to do animations (like Procreate on Ipads, or Clip Studio Paint in computers)

would you ever do tut of how you draw bodies ? i know i might be something that comes naturally but i would really like to learn how to proportion better

or give out you drawing process, that would be cool too :)

Honestly I’m not THAT good with anatomy, I still need to learn a lot of stuff myself, but something I can recommend you for getting better with proportions is to look for certain details irl references. Simple stuff first, like where’s the hand positioned compared to the leg of a standing person, how long are legs compared to a person’s torso, etc, etc- or maybe draw full bodies with simple shapes, to understand them.

Learning proportions can be a long process that takes a lot of practice tho, having that in mind it’s important!

Aand tbh something I like to do myself is to look up for artists that draw human bodies in a stylized way and trying to do similar stuff, it helps me to get some details stick to my mind easily, but it really depends on each person :]

(Also idk about my drawing process, maybe in a future I’ll do speed paints or streams, not sure)

how did you get into shipping dee and heavy?

Well… honestly I didn’t ship them THAT much at first, but still I decided to do a fanart of them as a “joke”, after that I began to get more deep into their personalities and their canon relationship and basically saw their potential. At that point I started to ACTUALLY ship deavy and the more I drew them the more I loved their dynamic shdjhs
