Part of her rebelled against this. She was, after all, the good one, the antithesis not only to the Valeyard, but to her former selves. Murder did match her current ethos.
Perhaps she was bored.
Or burnt out.
Or both.
"Should we establish rules?" she asked, turning over her shoulder. "Or... embrace the chaos?"

"Oooh," Missy let out a low, long whistle and rocked back on her heels as she clasped her hands behind her back and surveyed the body as though she was surveying a gardening patch. "Still got it in you then, Miss Goody two shoes."
She looked again at the body and then back at the other Time Lady. It was messy and looked as though it had been done in a rush. She looked closely at the Time Lady in front in her and leaned in closely.
"Why did you have to kill him?"
"..." the Lumiat crouched down in front of the corpse, sticking a finger in one of his wounds, which she licked clean. After some moments, she said, "he knew too much. Wandered into my TARDIS before I realized he was there--found things he shouldn't have, things I--I don't like to think about."
She lifted her gaze to meet Missy's.
"He found my loom--I'd forgotten about it. Seems foolish, having it after all these years..." she chuckled.
"How about we move to the city? More people, more witnesses?"

"I'm old, remember?" she retorted, narrowing her eyes as she erected barriers in her mind. "I've had too much time to think as of late." Traveling alone did that to her. Thinking, thinking, thinking.
"The Valeyard is always trying to tempt me," she admitted. "He says we could have so much fun together if I reverted to my old ways."
The Lumiat turned suddenly, not waiting for Missy to follow as she disappeared into her TARDIS. She returned some time later with two swords and proffered one to Missy.

"Perhaps I've gotten nostalgic in my old age," the Lumiat whispered, keeping her gaze fixed on the corpse. "Diseased, that's what ol' Rassilon said. A scourge in the gene pool. Doesn't matter now, does it? Not after--" she paused, lifting her gaze to meet Missy's.

"I went to go on a spree," she said, springing to her feet. "Now, sister, when was the last time you yielded a sword?"
