Coming out of hibernation to say Damn.

Okay, firstly, I just wanna say I’m super proud of Jordan and how far he’s come health and fitness wise.

Secondly, HOT DAMN, I WAS NOT PREPARED FOR THIS!!!!

I think the reason I even made a tumblr account in the first place was to ask you a question. That was in 2013. I've since then deleted that blog and made a new one, and left the fandom (and stopped watching Jordan's videos entirely, as gaming really no longer interests me), but I still think about some of the blogs I followed back when I first joined this godforsaken website in the beginning of eighth grade. You're one of those blogs and I hope you continue on to do great things.

Wow, thank you so much.. it’s really an honor to hear that kind of sentiment that’s such a long time coming! 

I’ve also moved on (if you couldn’t tell from the infrequent reblogs) but I’m still making content on tumblr, just a different subject matter nowadays. But I mean, as far as life goes, I have my own place, I have a job I love IRL, and I’m still on this stupid site. Some things just don’t change.

2013 seems like a thousand years ago, but I still have great friends I made through this blog and I am so glad to have met people like you, anon, who join a community to mess around and crack jokes and post memes and actually succeed in that goal.

Again, thank you so much. Blogs like you were the reason I joined in the first place. I hope you’re still having fun whether it’s IRL or in a different tumblr fandom or whatever.

Nostalgia

I’ve wanted to make this post for a while now, but I had to find the right words. A little while ago (though it seems like forever) we had a little thing called The CaptainSparklez TinyChat. It started as just a group to talk about Jordan, but developed into a group of absolute scrublords who loved to act ridiculous together. I was a playground, a battleground, a party, a soap opera, and often sounded more like a giant shitpost than a conversation. We had our issues here and there, but we all really cared about each other. We watched and helped each other grow, we supported each other in times of need. We had the best inside jokes in the world. 

After a while, the chats started to decline in frequency. The attendance became sparse. The group of people who once inhabited the little chat rooms tried to stay in contact. Some of us fell out of contact, some of us left the group purposefully. We all seemed to grow apart. For the most part, the TinyChat crew has disbanded.

But today, for no particular reason, I decided to go back into the TinyChat tag. I scrolled through all the stupid jokes and horrible MS Paint edits. I rolled my eyes at the drama that seeped into the tag. But mainly, I remembered. I remembered staying up late just to cheer up a friend. I remembered laughing hysterically at really bad fanfiction, and roleplaying even worse things. I remembered Circletine and the OJ commercial, and even Daniel’s beautiful dancing. And it made me so happy. 

So, those of you who I used to spend evenings dorking around with, I want to thank you. You guys were a huge part of my life and I will always love every single one of you. I hope when you look back at those nights, you recall them with fondness as well. I wish with all my heart we could come together again, but I know how unlikely that is now. Please know that I am still here, and I will always be here, and that I still love you guys so much. Thank you for the memories.
