I... haven't seen anyone acknowledge that it's actually pretty messed up to wish death upon a woman who's a mother (no matter what she's done to you) and putting that on blast in a song and also to bring her child into the mix/drama. Idk that song is the only one that is really Not It for me

She’s talking about an intense reaction her mother had to a massive targeted harassment that broke her. I don’t have a single problem with anything in the song.

every single album release im amazed by the creators in this fandom. holy shit you guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!! honored to share this silly little platform with u people i love u!!!!!!

i love this album because for the first time in maybe her entire career she's not apologising for a single thing. the album is angry and raw and she's like "here's this chapter of my life, the sad, the bad, the terrible and it's all raw and fucking angry for you all to see and i don't need absolution for a single thing" like she's not asking forgiveness for a single thing from anyone and that's what makes the album so fucking heartbreaking

it’s another album release week which means I have the swiftie zoomies

i think this album is a lot more abstract than we're used to with taylor, who is usually pretty direct, but people are still interpreting some of these lyrics extremely literally to infer factual real life events. sometimes lyrics just rhyme. sometimes imagery is used to invoke a feeling rather than make a legally binding statement. its ok to not know everything that happened to her for these songs to be, its more important to know whats happening with YOU as you listen to them.

sorry to all these critics but actually the only thing wrong with this album is that i look in people’s windows isn’t ten hours long
