Oh I love these so much. And yes I always thought that Bruno could have some health issues from childhood too. I just don’t know what. >_<
My Favorite Encanto Headcanons
In no particular order, here are the widely accepted headcanons that give me the most joy when I encounter them in fics:
Mirabel becomes the new gift giver.
Agustín and/or Félix come from outside the Encanto.
Agustín is a tailor.
Pedro composed "Dos Oruguitas."
Bruno sings "Dos Oruguitas."
The triplets had a few (or many) lovers in their youth.
Isabela and Mariano were friends before their abuelas arranged for their betrothal.
Agustín and Félix have jobs.
Bruno is bi.
Bruno is aro/ace. (I accept the bi HC more than this, but this makes for equally interesting stories.)
Bruno's gift has a wider scope than just seeing the future.
Bruno is the most religious one in the family.
Himbo Mariano
Alma and Señora Guzmán are good friends.
New people settle in the Encanto after the mountain opened up.
People get to periodically leave the Encanto after the mountain opened up.
Macondo exists somewhere beyond the Encanto.
Bruno and Camilo bond over their mutual love for theater.
Camilo and Mirabel are closest to each other than the rest of the grandkids.
"Oscar" was a family member of Alma's or Pedro's.
"Hernando" was a person that was special to Bruno in his youth.
Bruno has health issues from childhood.
If Bruno were to have children, he would get triplets.

How Bruno could be implemented into “Dreamlight Valley”
This is NOT official,it’s just an idea of a Questline. How he could be implemented into the game.
SPOILER WARNING!!!
(Must have Mirabel unlocked and finished her first few quests/Room quest)
One day, you find a green glowing shard on the ground, with an image of you, but the rest seems to be missing.
You ask Merlin about it and he remembers Mirabel's Uncle Bruno and that he sometimes would have visions about the future. So he sends you to Mirabel who might know more about where he is or how to contact him.
So off you go to Mirabel who sees the vision and remembers that Bruno wanted to help and see into the future because of the Forgetting. So he went to Dazzle Beach for Sand, but never came back.
You go to Dazzle Beach to find clues, where he could be and see 5 places with Rat footprints along the beach. Return to Mirabel and tell her about the footprints and she will tell you that he has lots of Rat friends and they might lead you to him. We should ask someone if they know what the rats have been up to. And who better to ask about rat business than a rat himself.
Go to Remy and he tells you that he hasn’t seen a lot of Rats around lately, but he knows all his family members love cheese! So you know how to make them show up, but how do you find out where they’re coming from?
So you two come up with a Rat trap . Cook the “Cheese Platter” and build a trap with some wood and some color. (Glas vile and some flowers to make paint/ink)
Place the trap and Cheese Platter on Dazzle Beach.
A cutscene will play and a rat walks to the platter and as they run away again they leave blue colored footprints.
You follow the footprints and find a Portal just like with Donald in the Forest of Valor. So you go into the Portal to follow the rest of the footprints through a twisted version of the Beach.
You find Bruno, who is very happy that the rats brought someone to save him instead of food like usual. (He would have been happy about food too, but he takes being saved over food any day)
You bring him (and his rats) back to the real Dazzle Beach and show him the vision piece, but he forgot what his vision was about, or how he even ended up in the Portal. Right now he just want so get some rest and see some familiar faces, so you bring him to Mirabel to finish the quest.
Bruno now lives in Casita with Mirabel (after all there is two beds for now) and his quest Line until level 10 will involve Updating Casita so he (and maybe other family members) can have a room and helping him remember how he ended up on the other side of the Portal and what the vision was about.
(Twisted version of Dazzle Beach was inspired by the “Dark Ocean” from Digimon Adventures 2)

After hearing John Leguizamo as the Riddler in Batman: The Audio Adventures, I just had to draw it.

I once wrote something about that too and how he wanted to run back inside to save her, but Casita wouldn’t let him.
do you ever think about how terrified bruno must have been when his tower was falling on mirabel? how his heart must have constricted in his chest, convinced that his favorite niece was going to be crushed under HIS tower because HE gave her that vision and told her how to save the miracle and it was going to be. All. His. Fault. as if he might as well have killed her himself.

i think about that a lot.
(when he learned mirabel was safe, i like to think he was so relieved that he cried harder than he had in years. but then it was time to pull himself together, be the tio she deserved, and find her.)
