This won't make sense to anyone but me, but I swear Jem and the Holograms influenced so many little things about how I draw. Little like, unnoticeable to non-artist things like how shirts tuck into belts
Or the "spikes" of hair (the locks?)
Like, as I'm outlining Aja here I'm just noticing all these little things that are in my visual handwriting and it's like, "hey, that looks like when I draw XYZ"
