#ChypreFemme #blend102 Chypre is a perfumery aspect mostly liked by men but my inspiration is the female frags that do great justice to chypre with it's unique twist. Mostly unisex due to its masterful blending. Presenting an attempt to do the same. Aldehydes are reminiscent to women's frags post the iconic chanel no 5 and that takes centrestage for the opening of this blend. The aldehydic gardenia greets you with it's warmth bit dusty yet very intoxicating. Further it's a bed of greens grassy and mossy cuts through the olfactory senses like a razor blade, but oh so floral at the same time. Keeping it true to the vintage-style formulations galbanum adds depth and the green vibe to this gem. To make things energized and youthful there is a hint of fresh citrus as well opening further facets to the blend. As the perfume transcends into it's mid you would notice the white floral accord emerging. To balance the tone of the frag there is a touch of sweetness there along with the a very opulent Iris. This adds a nice powdery edge to the composition. I wanted the frag to have it's own uniqueness and the rose brings that dimension to the blend. There is slight touch of rose in there, and faint spices supporting the rose. Believe me It smells clean, but without being soapy. The well blended mids lead to that oh-so-beautiful sandalwood, leather, and oakmoss base that will create a Scented memory for sure. And yesterday was my 1st day of level 2 In which we are learning blending. 🤩 The main thing I wanted to learn. 😍 Learnt laboratory rules and blending methods, In perfume manufacturing process, companies contact manufacturers then this process follows after finalising the manufacturer and after finalising the fine fragrance, So it all starts with heart then we go towards base and in the end we finalise top notes. Then 3 weeks of maturation Adding alcohol 8 week of maceration Then freezing/icing Then filtration Then your perfume is all ready to use and bottled. And then I learnt preparing a solution at 10% in a solvent and solvent was DPG for now because of courier and custom issues. And then we made Rose Accord from 10 different aroma chemicals and learnt about all of them first🤩 This was my favourite part, because every aroma chemical has different property similar to rose supporting different character of rose. ❤️🌹 And today we will be making an Apple Accord.
