im alive. it's christmas time. time to spend all day studying.
here's what the duskwood characters would get you for christmas.
thomas: thomas would buy something sentimental, either something that means a lot to both of you, something that reminds him of you or something that an inside joke between you two.
cleo: if cleo didn't have enough time to buy you something, she would bake your favourite food. if she did have enough time tho, she would buy you either something for your house or something you've really wanted.
hannah: hannah is the type of person to make lists of all the things someone has said that they want and buy you one of them (preferably the more recent one). she's prepared for this season.
lilly: lilly would buy you whatever she saw first. a mug? that's cute, you'll definitely use it. a shirt? that colour would suit you. yes, she didn't put much thought into them but they're always great gifts.
dan: dan would get anything that he found funny. or (like thomas) something that's an inside joke between you two. he reminds me of my classmates who got my name for secret santa and he bought me a small broom.
jessy: jessy also knows everything you like and unlike lilly she puts a lot of thought into the gifts she buys because she NEEDS you to love it. not like it, LOVE it. you should probably expect something expensive but meaningful.
richy: richy tried to give a child a mug with his shops logo on. that's what you're gonna get as well. not even chocolate. a mug. that he already got. and his excuse would be that he was "too busy to buy something else"
jake: it's time for him. and im gonna be honest. there are years that he wouldn't get you anything (he WAS busy unlike richy) but he would make up for it after the holidays with either a dinner or a day dedicated to you. if he had the time to buy a gift he would buy THE gift. your favourite gift of all. and it's not even because the gift is expensive or useful to you or even something that you wanted. you love that gift because you know that he took the time to think about it and choose the best one there is. you appreciate that and you'll always treasure that gift.

im bit late but um.. here's what halloween custom the duskwood characters would have.
2022 edition
--------
jessy would 1000% be something cute and fairies are really popular right now and she'd look really cute as a fairy with her red hair
cleo, hannah, thomas i feel like cleo hannah and thomas would go as alvin and the chipmunks. cleo would be simon, hannah would be theodore and thomas would be alvin.
lilly lilly would either be something funny or something basic. no in between. my guesses are either a police officer or i've seen a traffic cone costume and i think if lillys in a mood for fun she'd do that.
dan funny costumes all day every day i can especially see him being a pirate. especially wheelchair dan, he can transform the wheelchair into a pirate ship with just some cardboard and the groups help and voil脿.
richy richys sense of humour is a bit dry. like, i can see him dressing up as a mechanic for halloween. he's gonna be all like "i didn't even have to spend any money and i got an awesome costume. it's a double win" BUT if and i repeat IF he decides to dress up as something else he would either have a couple costume with jessy and make it really cheesy (peanut butter and jelly sandwich or like something supernatural related [jessys idea]) or something funny but basic like...a hot dog.
jake jake wouldn't dress up. he's too serious for that. (mc bought him a computer costume and forced him to wear it. don't tell that to anyone tho, he's embarrassed) if he HAD to pick a costume by himself he would probably buy an anonymous mask (like a basic white boy) or have mc or hannah paint his face like that fryboy dude. he would cover his face tho whichever costume he was wearing.
phil would dress as a prisoner. because he is one.
alan would put his everyday uniform on and call it a day.
darkness a skeleton. simple, basic, creepy when done right it's just perfect.
